Superb location, friendly host
We reserved a room with balcony for two nights and the view was spectacular. Daniel was a most accommodating host, recommending restaurants and making reservations, and giving us driving directions. The parking was convenient and the walk to town very easy, 5-10 minutes. We enjoyed being out of the congestion of the picturesque town with room to breathe around the hotel. The rooms with a view are worth it; the back rooms look over a ball field with noise and lights. It was too cold to use the terrace except for one breakfast, when it was delightful. The public rooms are modest, and you walk up to your room, so choose a floor accordingly. Our room, #3, on the second floor, was very attractively decorated, and the bathroom had the balcony, which was fine. The shower head was low for my 6'2" height and the tub very deep to get in and out of, great for a bath. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast, for 10 Euros, was modest, coffee not always hot.

Great place in the wonderful surroundings
We stayed here for 5 days and were very delighted with the comfort of the place. Provence-styled design, interesting paintings on the wall.The location is also good one: 5 minutes walk from old town, where many restaurants and shops are located.The owner (as I think), Daniel, is very responsive: when we needed several cups and plates, he gave us everything.If there is such an opportunity, take the room with the balcony and with mountain-view. One of the best minutes we spent sitting there and thinking, watching, having breakfast.

Quaint original hotel on the edge of Vence - very helpful owner Daniel. Basic but clean -recommended.Car Parking - no air con. Room kept warm.Gardens need to be tidied up - look a bit unkept - altho this was a stay off season.

Very highly recommended
We were returning to Vence after five years and chose the Miramar because our favourite hotel had gone out of business. However, we were delighted with the experience of staying in this well-located and comfortable hotel. On arrival we were autormatically upgraded to a superior room with a balcony and wonderful view of the mountains. The room itself was clean, well-decorated and maintained. The bed was very comfortable and easily accommodated my 6ft 2in partner. The bathroom was a good size with a shower and deep bath, the radiators were individually temperature-controllable and there was plenty of storage space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was winter, so we were unable to sample the delights of the pool or dining on the terrace (which itself has superb views to the east). We shall definitely return to the Miramar.Vence itself is a beautiful, ancient town, well worth exploring in depth. Buses there from Nice Airport cost just one Euro. This is the flat rate for any journey and I would recommend taking a bus to the mountain village of St Jeannet, where there are superb panoramas and hiking trails.

Miramar Hotel in Vence is a very nice place to stay, stunning view sea, mountains, in a nice garden. good staff, and very clean rooms with nice decoration. Good breakfast. i will come back in summer with my Family
