By far the best value for money hotel I've ever stayed in. By phoning up you can haggle your price or at least get a room with a better view. For the price I paid I was expecting something much much worse. Location isn't too bad, it's close enough to the motorway to make it accessible easily.

Lovely Hotel.
Stayed at the Beardmore for 2 nights to check it out prior to a conference in the area later in the year. This is a large & lovely hotel set in nice grounds on the banks of the Clyde. The strange thing is that the hotel is attached to a large hospital but this in no way deters from the hotel. The rooms were of a good size, clean & comfortable. I was very impressed with the large screen IMac computer in each room with free internet access. Excellent breakfasts with a very good selection. On the first evening we ate in the Bar & enjoyed a good meal served by very friendly staff. I thought the desserts were a little on the expensive side, but very enjoyable.Conference staff were very helpful.

I stayed at this hotel on the 31st May. It was my 33rd wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately my husband was in HDU next door to the hotel at the Golden Jubilee Hospital. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. The room was fabulous with views over the river. I felt myself relax for the first time in what has been a very stressful few days. The price I paid for the room was cheap considering the quality. I will be going back as soon as my husband has recovered and we can enjoy it together.

A lovely stay...wish we could have stayed longer!
Just home from a very relaxing one night stay in The Beardmore. In Glasgow to visit friends. First impressions were very good. Nice reception area and welcoming staff. Huge spacious suite with amazing views of the river Clyde. (Could have sat in that window all day) Room complete with two bathrooms, two Apple Macs, a huge queen size bed in the main bedroom and two decent size single beds in the living/bedroom number two. Very clean, bright and airy. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. Slept very well in the comfy bed and down for a nice..hot..tasty breakfast. A good choice too. Full Scotish, fresh fruit, cereals,pastries, hams, cheeses and toast. Fresh juices, tea and coffee. Lovely and attentive staff but not too imposing..just left you to enjoy your food but always happy to bring fresh hot beverages or hot toast. Lovely grounds and a great location..right on the impressive River Clyde. All in all a lovely stay and such a treat.Only downfall was the health spa wasn't open..we had to travel to a neighbouring hotel. Not too much bother but it would have been totally perfect if we could have just meandered up to our room after using the Spa instead of another car journey. Looking forward to seeing the newly refurbished spa on our return to the lovely,welcoming Beardmore.

Lovely Hotel
Huge clean room comfy bed (if you like a firm mattress) free WiFi and a good selection of channels on the iMac and the use of the leisure facilities is a bonus (even though the pool area was closed when I stayed). The room I stayed in had a really nice view of the Clyde and some of the hotels expansive well maintained grounds. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a few miles away from the Secc and Glasgow city centre but there is a train station near by with a regular service in to Queen Street. So if you are looking for something a bit better than the usual budget hotel I would recommend giving The Beardmore a go.
