One night at the Quality Hotel, Hanley
Bit wary due to the other reviews,so when we arrived and the room wasn't ready, we didn't know what to think,especially as other guests were booking in, eventually after an hour wait it was ready, this actually gave us time to use the bar. (The booking said we would get in at 2pm)The room was good value for money, bathroom could do with neater finishing touches.We overlooked the street though not as noisy as we thought it may be,we also had a the flood light outside our window for the sign but it was the noise of a car alarm in the hotel car park going on all night that disturbed our sleep.Overall the staff were helpful and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable, can't comment on the food as we didn't have breakfast.We have stayed in a few hotels, due to our daughter being at Uni here and the Quality is one of the best for value.

Booked this coach holiday through Travelstyle, 4 nights, 3 trips. bed, breakast and evening meal.Everything was fine with the hotel, good food, nice clean room, friendly staff, and can only say excellent value for moneh.

Very nice hotel and staff extreamly friendly
The hotel was nice and the food was very good and tasty. The waiter was a very nice friendly and helpfull person. The rooms were cozy and my 3 children loved it. It is a very quite hotel no noise and the lobby and bar are beautiful decorated. The hotel is in the middle of the city centre and there are alot of places near by you can visit

Not as bad as reviews say
I was a bit worried after looking at the poor reviews and previous Quality Inns that I have stayed at, but my stay here was fine, they allocated me a double room and I went back to reception and they gave me 2 rooms at no cost. Parking was free which makes a nice change. No pictures on here of the pool (just the usual scruffy decor, which annoys me), the pool was dated but clean and hat a sana, steam room and hot tub. Would recommend

Hostel NOT hotel
This is the worst accommodation i have had to stay in. Totally depressing room. Room was cold when we arrived. Furniture basic and beds lumpy. The "hotel" is more like an old peoples home or a hostel. Very disappointed.
