Another good stay
Used previously for overnight stay prior to flight and 8 days parking. Bargain via Holiday Extras at ¿¿72. Nice Hotel, good sized room, quiet and clean. Used Restaurant 3 courses ¿¿17 menu - very good. Great service. Wi fi free in public areas, but ridiculous charge in room. Shuttle service great. Had to use the Arrow taxi service on return - very efficient though. Recommended

Really friendly place
We stayed one night in a deluxe twin. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful, the coffee bar served costa coffee and was more expensive than on the high street but it was ice. The restaurant was very good for dinner and the food was well cooked and nicely served. Breakfast was the usual combination of continental and English, but they did cook eggs to order a very nice touch.The spa, pool and fitness centre looked good but we didn't use it.

Hard beds, just when you want a good nights sleep
Booked at queen deluxe room at a cheap rate. Try the 'great getaway' rate that seems to be available some parts of the year, we got it for ¿¿75. These size rooms are in the loft area, so you get a couple of velux windows rather than the norm. The bed was hard, it had a mattress topper but still. The room was very clean and comfortable, but really wanted a bed that we could get some decent sleep in, considering we stayed to get the East Midlands airport early.

Well looked after
We have stayed here about four times now I stay with my son who plays wheelchair football nearby.The room has everything you need and we'll serviced. We usually eat out when we stay in hotel chains as we have found the food over priced and poor quality ,that is not the case here the food breakfast and dinner is excellent well above average and very friendly and attentive staff in the restaurant .The hotel public areas are all very user friendly and spotlessly clean but the best thing about this hotel is the staff they are all so friendly and helpful that's what makes staying here so nice.

Overnight Stay
First time staying here and was pleasantly surprised. Booking in was very easy and the receptionist was friendly and professional, i even got a call once in my room to check if all was OK! The food was very good and delivered on time, one minor complaint was the portion size, could have been a little more, but happy with my meal. The room was large clean and well set out, everything worked and easy to use.The two areas that could be improved were parking and WiFi. First the parking, as a guest i was surprised to be charged ¿¿5 to park my car, every other hotel i have stayed in has always been free. As the hotel is just off the M1 i would suspect that most people would drive there, so being charged to park if you are a guest smacks of an easy way to make money by the hotel.Secondly the charge for 24 hours use of WiFi, ¿¿14.99!!!!!! what a rip off. Again most hotels i stay in are free, and the ones that charge are around ¿¿2 - 3.00, not ¿¿14.99!!! If the likes of Starbucks or McDonald's can give it to you for free, why can't the Hilton. I pay half that amount for a month at home, so i cannot see how the Hilton group can justify the high cost. Like the parking charge i see this is as a money making scheme from a captive audience.As i work in the East Midlands area a lot, i will not be staying at this hotel again, which is a shame because all the other aspects were very good. However due to the blatant money grabbing schemes on parking and WiFi i would find it difficult to recommend this Hotel to anyone working or flying from the East Midlands area.
