Fabulous wedding venue
I have to firstly mention The Host who made my daughter and son in laws day the best ever!!!! He was attentive, nothing was too much trouble everything was perfect! He is a credit to Shrigley Hall. Now for a bit of a moan :( few problems whilst planning the wedding that my daughter had a few issues with the wedding co ordinator that could have been avoided! Other than that couldnt have asked for a more perfect day in a stunning setting! Thankyou x

Disappointing, not 4 star
Stayed here one night, thank goodness only one night.Rooms clean but dated, needs a good over haul. Bed hard and pillows not nice.Food terrible. Advertising cocktails at bar, friend wanted one that had apple juice and they had no apple juice.Would not stay here again although the setting is stunning. Could be a lovely hotel.

Very nice stay here
Stayed overnight here recently when attending a wedding. Overall good experience. Very nice hotel and lovely location. Hotel was very busy and although we didn't have to queue for breakfast as we were up early, some people who came down later did have to queue. Quality, and choice of food at breakfast was very good and you could eat as much as you wanted. The food for the wedding reception was really good. Our room was fine - there was a minor fault on the shower fitment, also our room looked out on to the air conditioning units which you could hear with the window open. If we stayed again, we would ask not to be put in that particular room. To sum up, lovely hotel in great location and we would stay here again.

great wedding venue in lovely location
We stayed one night for a wedding. Room was comfortable & clean. Breakfast good . Tables slow to be cleared & re set but that is the only negative. The wedding seemed to be very well organised. I'm sure the bride & groom were happy

Fabulous spa break
Myself and 3 friends booked a spa break at Shrigley Hall and could not fault any aspect of it. The beauty therapists were friendly and the treatments were excellent. The group treatment room was great as were the leisure facilities. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast and evening meal (included in our package) were of a very high standard with a good choice for dinner. We had lunch in the bar area, which was also lovely lovely and reasonably priced. All the hotel staff were polite and friendly, and we will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!
