A friend and myself checked into the hotel for one night, we were by happy with the service and surroundings. However, on the day we checked in it was around 23 degrees we were escorted to our room by the concierge the room was alike to a sauna, stifling hot. He suggested opening the window and pulling the blinds to block the sun we done this and left the room for 2 hours for a walk. We came back to find that the room was still hot I rang reception to find out if there was air con but was told there wasn't.....they sent up a fan by a lovely member of staff who got another one as she couldn't believe the heat in the room but to cut a long story short we got two hours if sleep the whole night and were baked...we were very disappointed and were looking forward to a relaxing night sleeping a 5 star hotel.....I would expect air con in a 5 star...

I have never stayed in a hotel as lovely as this. We were there for an awards evening and had rooms booked for the night. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. My room was lovely, huge bath and shower with complimentary rubber duck! The bed was also huge and so comfy. I had a view of the loch which was stunning. The grounds were something else, beautiful trees, flowers and unusual sculpures to spark interest. The food at the awards was really good, and the breakfast the next morning was enough to cure any hangover!(which I had!!) I found the stay very relaxing, the weather helped with the mood it has to be said, but I really want to go again and try the spa which looked fab.

My four friends organised a trip to the Culloden Spa for us all to celebrate my special birthday. Wow what a way to remember it. From the minute we walked in and got greeted, the superb food, the high quality cleanliness of the pool and changing area and then the pre and post treatment relaxation rooms, not to mention the treatment itself. I received a massage and it was amazing. Overall this day trip was definitely the special way to celebrate my birthday with special friends in this special and magical spa. Plus we travelled by train and it stops just two minutes away. The manager Lucia and the therapist Jennifer were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. They were even very helpful with the trains home. Thank you and I will definitely visit again and hopefully stay over.

Myself and my girlfriend have stayed on this hotel on numerous occasions now and we cannot wait to get back!! You will never fully understand how fantastic the Culloden five star experience is until you go and pay them a visit, meet the staff, have a cocktail in the Crozier Lounge, taste the local food and stay in one of the warm, inviting and stylish bedrooms. This hotel truly is a touch of Heaven on Earth.The hotel is in beautiful surroundings and has beautiful gardens filled with traditional and more modern art including sculptures and water features and makes for a lovely walk. From the moment the concierge greeted us at the main entrance and relieved us of our heavy luggage, all of our worries disappeared for the duration of our visit as we were pampered with complete luxury. Check-In was swift and friendly and the receptionist could not have been more helpful in booking us a table in the Cultra Inn for dinner. The concierge escorted us to our bedroom and on the way asked us about our plans and made a few suggestions about what local attractions to go and see during our visit. He also provided us with leaflets for what to go and see in and around Bangor & Belfast and wished us a pleasant stay. Complete Professionalism.The room itself was absolutely fantastic and was spotlessly clean. The room boasted moody lighting, a large bed which was the best bed I have ever stayed in throughout my travels in Ireland & Abroad, seating area and all the mod-cons we would need to make our stay enjoyable - Including a massive flat screen television. The welcome pack in the room was very informative and gave further information about attractions, services and the rooms service menus which looked very very appealing. Also, not only was tea and coffee facilities provided, but it was not the tasteless freeze-dried instant coffee that we normally associate with hotels but freshly ground coffee, a cafetiere, locally blended tea's, big hearty mugs and fresh milk to your door whenever you fancy a hot drink. Fantastic. Also some people say its the simple things that make a hotel room great - Plenty of natural light, no noise, air-con and all the fresh air you could ask for from the large feature windows.All food was sourced locally from around the hotel and throughout Northern Ireland. Prepared to Perfection and Extremely Tasty!! We had dinner in the Cultra Inn which is a bar/restaurant on the grounds of the hotel. The staff were fantastic and their knowledge about the food and products was great. I had the Sirlion Steak which was cooked to perfection and the side orders and sauce were piping hot, my partner had the Irish Chicken Cordon Bleu which she said was absolutely stunning and rested on a bed of pasta in a white creamy sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our wine which complimented our meals beautifully.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, for all occasions!! It really is something special, the staff made us feel like royalty and we cannot wait to get back and experience proper Irish Hospitality again. You will not find this experience in any other hotel in Belfast or the surrounding areas. Thank you Culloden for a wonderful time! We will be back soon!!

My wife and I spent our first anniversary in the Culloden as we had our reception there a year previously. I can only say how fantastic the staff and accommodation were. Our meal was one of the best that either of us have had and the service impeccable, particularly our waiter Ryan. We were offered one of the suites for our stay and cannot fault it. I am being very picky when i say this, as this is the only thing that we thought could possibly be improved on, but there was no clock in the swimming pool. Over all a fantastic stay
