Beautiful and charming
Just a lovely hotel in a very picturesque location, enjoyed every minute of my business trip here including a very welcome G&T in the sunshine in the courtyard. The staff are friendly and I had a room/suite that I could quite easily live in forever. The car park is slightly tricky to find but they valet-parked my car for me, which was a nice touch. Great breakfast, too.

Lovely birthday break :)
Stayed here for one night in April for my birthday. Had a lovely time, staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Got a deal off last minute which included two treatments, dinner & breakfast for an excellent price considering how lovely the hotel is! Treatments were fab and the girls were very friendly and professional. Dinner was quite expensive if you were paying, however as we got this in the deal it was more than reasonable! Good choice on the menu and the staff were very friendly, a lot better than expected, breakfast the next day was great too! Lots of choice and staff were very attentive.Would definitely recommend stopping here for a weekend break! Village is nice to walk around too, lots of nice shops to walk around. Would recommend having some spa treatments as they are fab!

All round excellence
This hotel has been on our 'Must stay' list for a long time, and when we eventually stayed for a short break we were not disappointed.Check-in was efficient, and having someone on hand to carry your luggage to your room is something many hotels don't offer these days. Plus, you could pull up at the front door and someone would park your car for you.Our room had old world charm, with paneled walls, and was big enough to take two easy chairs. The only fault with the room (92) is that it was dark, which was a problem for my wife and her make up. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but this was not a problem. The shower was, however! I can never fathom out how to work the controls on showers in hotels, and this one was no exception.Breakfast was good, with a full choice of hot food, continental style breakfast etc. The toast was however cold.Despite a few minor gripes, this is still an excellent hotel.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Stunning building with so much character
We arranged to meet Ali & Ian from 'Wizards Thatch' Cheshire, here as we had both been on the channel 4's show "Four in a bed" and met here as it was about half way between them and us in Hastings, 'Northrise Lodge'. The Lygon Arms in Broadway was amazing the character and history of this building blew you away, we were certainly not disappointed. We stayed in The Charles the 1st Suite which had a huge 4 poster bed, there was a lounge with two secret passages, a huge luxury bathroom and luxurious toiletries. We cannot describe the feeling of walking into a room with such character, it was amazing. We had views over the main street of Broadway. The Lygon Arms and its staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. We had a fantastic, interesting night tour from Les which he clearly took pride in this beautiful historical building with his knowledge. Thank you for sharing that with us. The open fire places and amazing breakfast room, entrance hall, just everything was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding, with so much to choose from and a deliciously cooked breakfast. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again, its a great place to stay with friends as we did. Thank you to the new manager Anthony and your staff for making our stay so memorable.

Good hotel in a lovely location
We stayed for one night on a Travelzoo deal. The hotel is well situated in a chocolate box English village. Very old building with loads of character. Staff were good although service at reception was variable. Rooms are old but well furnished and good bathrooms. We paid for an upgrade to a premium room because we were informed on booking that standard rooms were not available. We thought this was strange when we were there as it did not appear that the hotel was full and wondered if this was a ploy to make more money on top of the Travelzoo deal. The premium room was very nice -although small. The food at dinner was excellent. Great menu with good choice of starters, mains and dessert. Would stay there again without hesitation. Great spa with a decent sized pool and a gym.
