Basic but adequate
Stayed there last weekend and had a clean and adequate room with tv and suitcase stand, ensuite and twin beds. However there was no tea / coffee making facility that I would have expected. They provided good square meals although the staff either did not know how to serve at table or else they just resented us being there over the bank holiday weekend and were set on showing it. I was told that it was a business mans hotel so they were not used to have paying guests at weekend.Situated in a mainly muslim area its not provided with any bars & restaurants in the area so the fact they their restaurant and bar were closed in the evening after the meal did not add a welcoming hospitality.Its location on the RAR is good for those conversant with Paris metro and RAR system, which is cheap and very good.

Worst. Service. Ever.
To start off with, the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. Rooms were small & dirty, and the people who staffed the service desk were completely uninterested in providing any assistance. It was one of the worst hotels I have ever been in with my European trips. Do yourself a favor and book a different hotel.

Not good, choose another hotel!
This hotel was a disappointment. I had made reservations for a non-smoking room with two single beds, but they gave us a room with a double bed. After insisting on a room with two single bed the staff member gave us indeed a room according to the reservation, except that someone had clearly been smoking in the room. Even after opening the window for fresh air the smell of cigarettes wouldn't leave the room. After one very cold night it turned out that putting the key card in the little machine next to the door doesn't put on the heater. You have to put on the heater by yourself by pressing on a botton behind the tiny heater. The staff had not told us this, so only after telling the staff that there was a problem with the heater they told us. I think that's bad service. Breakfast was very nice. Definitely worth the money. There were fresh croissants and baguettes, different kinds of marmelade, cheese, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, a toaster, yoghurt, milk, two kinds of cereals and fresh fruit.The location is not too good when you want to enjoy the city centre of Paris. The train station is very close to the hotel, but it takes 15-30 minutes to get to the city centre and it will add to the costs. Every day we had to pay 10.40 euros for 2 people to go to the city centre and come back. Furthermore, there are hotels in the city centre of Paris which are cheapter than this one.

Ok hotel, but too long from the city centre
Easy to find from Nanterre Ville st. Get off the train, and 2-3 min walk, starting to cross under the railway, and you are alomost there.Good reception at the front desk, and the same girl working there handled the bar in the evening. Clean, but very small rooms.Not much happens in the local area, and it takes around 12 minutes to Paris.

Budget hotel but welcoming staff made all the difference
Arrived late at hotel (12. Midnight) and despite the outside looking a bit dubious i was greeted warmly by name by the night porter who made sure that I had everything I needed and was happy to show me where the station was for me in the morning, he also printed me off a map so that I knew exactly whe I was going. The morning staff were also very helpful and cheery. The rooms were a little dated and tired but clean an adequate , breakfast was good ok and typically French. I travel a lot and stay in mainly 4-5 star hotels , but I would stay again manly because of the staff. If you're on a budget its perfectly adequate.
