    Special Break
    My husband and I spent five nights at the hotel to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary in April. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and very efficient and a minor niggle was handled very quickly.The location of the hotel (right by the gate of the palace gardens) was very convenient. Please note that this is not the gate to the Chateau itself. The hotel has it's own gardens and is in a very attractive setting.The only downside was that although this is a 'top-end' hotel and quite expensive, there is no free wifi.

    Great hotel
    The first night was terrible. There was a very loud party in the main hotel restaurant until 2 am in the morning. Many of us complained to the staff but they could not turn down the noise. The noise was so loud that our room, which was an upgraded suite was shaking. We had to sleep with our noise cancelling head phones on. The rest of the stay was wonderful. Minus the first night experience, I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Very good and pleasant hotel
    Very nice hotel, no complaints at all... a bit costly, to be honest, but since I had a business trip, I fully enjoyed the excellent SPA facility, the morning breakfast and had an excellent sleep on a quality bed!

    5 star beauty!
    This hotel is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Versailles and the luxury of the hotel. Located right next to the palace and the gardens, you can easily walk over to the palace and try to visit when less crowded. The gardens are lovely to stroll through anytime. The hotel is wonderful. The lunch we had in the veranda restaurant was one of the best meals of our trip. We also had afternoon tea in the gallery bar which was delicious but not what I would consider a typical afternoon tea. It was more sweet than a mix of sweet and savory. As I said, it was still delicious but be sure that you know it is sweet when you go in. If you are hoping to eat at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant, please note it is closed both Sunday and Monday. We did not know that beforehand and were very disappointed that we were unable to eat there. We used the spa and I enjoyed a great massage. My friend also received a massage and pedicure and was very happy with both. The staff were lovely. The pool area is a bit disappointing. We had expected a hot tub but there wasn't any. The steam room was nice but very small. I expected a bit more of a luxurious feel from the pool area and there wasn't. However, since the treatments were good, I did not mind too much. The rooms are spacious by Paris standards and well maintained. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel!

    Ideal location Incredible hotel
    The hotel is so close to the palace gardens that you feel as if you are a guest of the palace more than a traveler at the hotel. The room we had was huge compared to most rooms in Europe and the hotel service was great. That said there was no free wifi which for such a hotel was disappointing but the bar on the terrace was great. The pool and sun deck offered a relaxing retreat and are as luxurious as the rest of the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant and the service and setting could not have been better and the breakfast was phenomenal for americans traveling throughout europe.
