Stayed here for just one night in early May 2013 (SU-MO). Check in swift and quick, recognised and thanked (and upgraded to City view room) as Platinum Gold Passport member, although reserved through third party website. Rooms very nice, clean and with great views of the city skyline (11th floor). Room amenities limited, but you can always call for extras. Free shuttle service to the airport and subway. Internet connection fast and reliable (and free for Plats).

I cannot remember the last time I stayed at a major chain hotel and was made to feel like a part of a "family". Amazing. The staff at this hotel are second to NONE. The views of Boston Harbor are unbeatable - and you simply catch a water taxi (10 minutes) to reach the waterfront of the city. It's a fantastic experience all around - and so very "Boston". I came to see the memorial to the Boston Bombing victims; I drove 7 hours from D.C., had only one night - but what a night. The view from our 12th floor room was unmatchable - postcard perfect - and the hotel staff went above and beyond to attend to our every need. Can't say enough about these people. Anyway, thank you Hyatt Harborside staff and thank you Boston.

My husband and I recently booked a two night stay at the Hyatt Harborside for a mini getaway, and to celebrate by birthday. I can honestly say we enjoyed our stay. Initially, we wanted a Suite, in light of the special occasion for my birthday. None were available, so we booked a "waterview" room. We found the room to be neat, clean, spacious, with more than significant closet space. The rooms, I thought were also reasonably priced. The hotel was located within the perimeter of Logan Airport, with planes clearly taking off and landing. However, this hotel is well insulated where you did not hear any noise from the planes. The views of the Boston skyline were fabulous, especially at night. We did take a water taxi across the harbor to visit the North End of Boston, the fare of $16.50 round trip I thought was reasonable. The staff was very accomodating. It was a very enjoyable stay. My complaint, was the food. We ordered in room dining for 1 night, and the food was horrible, and clearly over priced hotel food. A soda from the soda machine is $2.50, OUCH! We did select valet parking, and I thought the attendants left a little to be desired. I expected more customer service than what we received. But, no hotel is perfect, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a brief, or long term stay, as we plan on another visit next month. Over all, some minor glitches, but, a wonderful stay. Recommendations, upper level, water view room. You definitely, will not be disappointed at the Hyatt Harborside.

My husband and I liked the hotel. The views were outstanding. The rooms were clean as well as the hotel, however the service at the hotel is very poor. We asked for a wake up call and did not get one. Ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and was not given my glass of wine until after dinner. Ate breakfast there....my husband ordered an omelet, they didn't see the order slip from the waiter so the omelet never showed up. The next night we ordered a drink and they brought my husband half a glass full and said they were running low on the alcohol he had ordered and were having a new bottle brought out. The bartender said that they would bring the rest of the drink out to us as soon as the new bottle showed up. It never did, however they called us about an hour later in our room and asked if we wanted it delivered, by that time we were in bed.We won't be staying there again!

My wife and I stayed here for Marathon weekend. It is so convenient to Logan and for $17 round trip per person you can take the water taxi to all the great parts of the city except Back Bay which requires an additional ride on the T. The hotel is clean and beautiful and has amazing views from the restaurant and lobby across the harbor to the city skyline. We were blown away by the service of the staff, especially Tom on Saturday morning who walked us outside to show us where to get the water taxi. After the chaotic events on Marathon Monday, we arrived back at the hotel to find the staff gracious and empathetic. The hotel was packed with people and outlets were at capacity, but the service was still great under the worst of stress tests. Management really needs to be commended!
