Only stayed 1 night, but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was fantastic, massive king sized bed, flat screen tv ensuite toilet/shower. The owner was very freindly and helpfull and really made us feel at home. The breakfast was quality (a full english for my partner and a veggie breakfast for myself) with cerals and juice avalible. The hotel is also ideally located for bars and clubs, theartes shops etc. We spend a lot of time in Blackpool and this is by far the best place we have stayed even better than some of the top hotels.

When I got here wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was the staff were so friendly and approachable would do anything to make your stay better will defiantly be cumming back again realky enjoyed our selves and will tell people about it

The hotel was right in the heart of everything. Mins from all the good bars. Rooms were big, clean and had all you needed. Breakfast was amazing!! & as for Stuart the owner, well.... what can I say. He is a fantastic man who could not do enough for us. He made the stay go from good to brilliant. He decorated the bar with all my friends for a surprise for my b'day and he played music for us. Whatever we wanted:-) Stuart your an angel thank you. I will be calling soon to book up for November:-) From Gem, Rob, Ange, Sim, Beth & Carl (the where's wally crew!!)

what can we say about our stay at the Edward Hotel - brilliant!! our room was fresh and clean, with tasteful decor, a big flatscreen tv, mirrored wardrobes and a lovely ensuite toilet/shower. Stuart, the owner was absolutely fantastic, both with us and our dogs. Stuart played any music we requested and got our night started off with his home made disco and drinks in the bar. Breakfast was lovely, cereals, fresh juice, pot of tea and a full english, even allowing the dogs to join us at breakfast time. For the money we paid it was well worth it, we also had a view of blackpool tower from our window, which was lovely on an evening. At the time of visiting, the car park to the hotel was under construction, so we did have to park round the block from the hotel, which in the rain wasnt too pleasant! however, we did manage to get free space - just check the road markings. The location of this hotel is ideal, at the right end of town for a night out, near to the tower, the shopping centre, the beach and of course the golden mile. If you want a pet friendly hotel with a fun atmosphere - choose this one! we will be back soon!! thanks

6 of us stayed here for 2 nights. Don't let the outside appearance put you off. The rooms are big, light and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities available in the room. The bar area/dining area is a bit small but Stuart, the lovely owner, makes the most of it, with disco lights and music to get the night off to a good start! One of our group had a birthday and he helped us set up the bar area with banners and balloons and got involved with the celebrations, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was a fry up with toast and cereal, juice, tea and coffee served swiftly. Location is superb, a two minute walk to the bars and cabaret bars. About a ten min walk to north pier and shops. Would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay, Stuart made it all the more fun with his laid back attitude and friendly nature!Only down side is the bar next door was very loud, but stopped at 1am.
