I decided to book this hotel as a surprise for my husband as it was our Anniversary. After many hours researching decent hotels in Brighton (at a reasonable price) I was drawn to The Neo and was pleasantly surprised. We stayed for 1 night in room 5 which was small but very comfy & had a huge bathroom with a lovely shower as well as a huge double ended bath! Bliss! On the website it states that the mid week cost is ¿¿125, however we paid only ¿¿80 for it which included a scrummy breakfast! The bed was very comfy. The only slight criticism I would make is that a slightly bigger TV would have been appreciated, but not the end of the world! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

After checking out lots of hotels online, I decided to book a room at the Neo Hotel for a one night surprise birthday treat for my boyfriend.STAFF: I was immediately assured I had made the right choice when I called the hotel prior to booking and the receptionist was so helpful, gave me feedback on what room would be right for us and even arranged to have birthday balloons on the bed as a surprise for my boyfriend when we arrived. They were also happy to keep our bags all day after we checked out, free of charge.Throughout the stay the staff went out of their way to help and were a highlight of our stay in the hotel.ROOM: we stayed in room 5 of the hotel which had a large double bed an ensuite with shower and HUGE double ended bath. The room is decorated beautifully and although on the small side, the huge bathroom and bath make up for it. It's is located on the top floor so you have to walk up a few flights of stairs, and there is no lift. The room was very quiet but we did get abit of street noise in the morning. We did also check out Room 1 while we were here and it is a lot bigger and really light with beautiful floor to ceiling windows but the bathroom in room 1 is tiny an only has a shower. A highlight was taking a hot bath in the huge tub in room 5 which the hotel had filled for us while we were at dinner with ros¿¿ petals and dim lighting, beautiful!HOTEL: The hotel is a small boutique B&B and on our midweek stay was very quiet. We only saw one other person at breakfast! The hallway has free water and sweets which was a nice touch. There is a small drinks bar which we didnt spend any time in.The breakfast room however is amazing and decorated beautifully, with a range of magazines and the morning newspaper to choose from and beautifully light again with ceiling to floor windows! BREAKFAST: breakfast is included in the price of each room and was great value. You can choose more than one thing off the menu and the staff were happy to refill drinks and extra toast etc free of charge. I had a tasty granola and yogurt followed by a full English. Toast, tea and apple juice!LOCATION: The Hotel is located on a slip road jay off of the main coast road. Its bery close to the lanes shopping about 5 minute walk. It is however about 15 minute walk from the actual pier and brighton station. We didn't mind walking as it was lovely weather. But if u don't fancy walking, cabs are really cheap in Brighton, it cost us only ¿¿4 from the hotel to Brighton stationVALUE: the rooms are a little pricey but still cheaper than other boutique hotels I have seen online. We payed ¿¿125 for a midweek night stay. However the amazing staff and service, beautiful rooms and great breakfast made it worth while in my opinion.

Location: A few minutes walk to the town centre and seafront, so perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle without being too far from shops and restaurants.Room: We stayed in room 4 which was one of the pricier rooms. It was decorated beautifully and a TV, hairdryer, dressing gowns, tea/coffee making facilities and luxury toiletries were included. The bathroom was a little on the small side (room 5 had a larger bathroom and bath) but it had a bath and powerful shower and was, again, nicely decorated. The bed was HUGE and comfortable if not a little soft.Staff: The staff were all very friendly, and ensured the room was ready before showing us up and showing us the bar and breakfast room, which are both very nice. Room service and the bar are available until 9pm and there is no 24hr reception as it is a small hotel. It was a little disappointing that we couldnt get a drink after 9pm but we knew this before we arrived. Overall service was excellent.Breakfast: This was the highlight of the stay, with a 2 course breakfast served in the lovely breakfast room. 'Starters' consisted of either a smoothie, yogurt/fruit/honey/granola glass (which we both chose), cereals etc. 'Main course' was cooked and consisted of either full english (or a veggie version which was delicious), American blueberry pancakes with syrup creme fraiche and bacon (which was also incredible) and other cooked options. Tea/coffee/juice was also served and you could have bucks fizz for a charge. Breakfast in bed was an extra ¿¿5 per person but was a nice option.Extra facilites included the hire of a dvd from a huge collection for an refundable ¿¿10 deposit.Overall we had a nice stay, and although we feel the hotel was a little expensive for what was on offer it was a lovely small hotel with good service and breakfast.

This glorious boutique hotel is near enough to the centre of Brighton to be easy walking distance to all the bars, pubs, restaurant and questionable clubs you could desire, but far enough away not to be rowdy of a nighttime. The decor is beautiful throughout, decadent without being vulgar, and luxurious whilst still feeling homely. The staff are all delightful, and the chap who was serving us in the private bar could not have been more personable. We stayed in Room 5, whose massive bath was gorgeous and big enough for 2 to relax in. We went for the breakfast in bed option the next day (at an extra cost, but totally worth it - damn you, red wine) and the blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and bacon was absolutely amazing - and they catered to my gluten-free-ness to boot. All in all a fabulous stay, thoroughly recommended.

Many thanks to nick the manager of the Neo, the hotel bar and lounge space were perfect for our leaving do, with our group at 18 the bar man and nick catered for our cocktail needs with speed and class, we love the look of the hotel, brighton chic and warmth. The perfect venue for at special event and we will deffently be back for our next one.We got our canap¿¿s from Circa Events Marc was very helpful in the choosing of the canap¿¿s and there tasted great, perfect little morsoles 01273 694 111¿¿So to nick and the team of the neo, we would like to say thank you for making us so welcome.
