We can't wait to go back.
When I initially phoned to book 2 rooms at Canonsgrove Farm, I was offered a cheap alternative, which was which very appreciated.When we arrived we were offered a very warm welcome and were shown around. The rooms were clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. The bathroom was pristine and huge with a large shower and separate bath. After a very comfortable sleep we had a delicious and vast breakfast. The toast kept flowing. It is rare to get a full English which isn't swimming in grease, but this was just perfect. We spoke to 2 other groups at breakfast time who were also really enjoying their stay.It is a working farm, but in-spite of this, the couple who own it make you feel that they have all the time in the world for you and nothing is too much trouble.Should we be in the area again, we will certainly be staying there again. All four of us thought it was brilliant and can't recommend it enough.

Disappointing
The other reviewers must have stayed in a different room to ours - we stayed in the Quantock Room. Apparently 'ensuite' which bascially meant a toilet and a shower attached to the wall meaning everything in the bathroom was soaked. We had to bath our baby in the sink. The farm is hundreds of years old and we found it dreary and dark even in summer. No where to sit outside and the furniture and decor was old. For the cost we paid for the night it wasn't good. Another example of a web site that looks good but doesn't reflect where you're staying. If you're en-route do yourself a favour and book a travel lodge.

Lovely B&B, very friendly owners, with great eggs for breakfast
We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a friends wedding in a local village, and really enjoyed our stay. We were made to feel so welcome, and our hosts were very accommodating about our rather delayed arrival! I was heavily pregnant at the time, and looking for a comfy bed and tasty breakfast and got both of those in generous doses...We had a very big, comfortable room, and our own bathroom just off the landing. A very atmospheric and charming farmhouse. The breakfasts were just lovely, particularly the fresh eggs which I tried boiled and were absolutely scrummy. We were sad to leave, and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
