What a lovely warm welcome, Mark made our stay easy and relaxed. We will be using The Norwood again, and reccommend to other's. Helpful advice on where to eat, and access other facilities. Great location if your requiring rooms for visiting Royal Orthopedic Hospital.Rooms clean, beds comfortable, superb breakfast, a big thank you.

Friendly service
Was at a conference all day an had been to a few hotels before being recommended The Norwood. They accommodated us at the last minute which was greatly appreciated. Stayed with partner and myself for the evening before travelling on to our next seminar. Mark gave a very warm and friendly greating which is much lacked by many of the bigger chains. It was felt he was honest in his approach. The room and facilities didnot disappoint and the hotels garden was spectacular. Must return for a longer stay especially in nicer weather.

We recently held a funeral tea here for a very close family member. The last time we had been to the norwood was 15 years ago when we held our wedding reception here. (Trip advisor didn't exist then but we would have left an excellent review. It was fabulous.) Mark & julie haven't changed a bit. They are very friendly & the whole afternoon was done wonderfully. The food was excellent & the staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was bright and welcoming. It was a great send off for a loved one.Thank you mark & julie & all your staff.

Quoted one price on phone charged another
Was quoted one price on the phone and then charged another on check out, family room booked (one double bed and two mattresses on the floor!!!). Burnt toast and sausages for breakfast. Overpriced bar.

Home from Home
Stayed 11 nights whilst on a course locally. Extremely friendly management team and staff - nothing was too much trouble. Ended up eating there as well for most of my stay. Kitchen were happy to accommodate my particular dietary requirements. Quiet and peaceful, took my slippers with me to sit and watch the TV. Manager got my first name and remembered it all the time. Very impressive. I'd stay there again. It's all about the service.
