A must for any blackpool tourist!
We booked this b&b last minute as we had an unexpected trip to Blackpool. Our room was very clean and of a comfortable size, the complimentary wine is a small but lovely gesture. The b&b is on a quiet street just off the parade, around a 10 minute walk to blackpool tower but if you'd prefer to use a tram that is only a 2 minute walk away.We had a great night sleep in a comfortable bed followed by a good sized tasty breakfast. I'd recommend this b&b to any tourists wanting a quiet stay in tasteful surroundings.

Exceptional Quality and Value
Cannot rate this B&B highly enough. Stayed with my little boy for one night. Owner warm and friendly, room spotless and smell-less. Facilities, inc Freeview TV and Fridge in room plentiful and thoughful. Breakfast fantastic - full English breakfast and lots of it, perfectly cooked. Fresh coffee and juices, etc. Superb value for money. Definitely 5 Stars and NO I am not a relative of the owners!

Arrived late on Friday evening 23rd November. After checking in which was quick and straight forward we were shown to our room by Sylvia. Room was lovely and clean and adequate for our stay. Nice touch with the wine. Breakfast was lovely. All in all a good wee break. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

My self,wife and grandson stayed for 3 nights B&B at The Golden Sands in Gynn Avenue. We had a medium sized twin bedded en suite room tastefully decorated on the top floor over looking the front street in a quiet location.The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean and tidy and had a mini fridge with a complementary half bottle of wine waiting on arrival, small screen digital TV, hair dryer, plenty of cupboard space for clothes.The ample full English breakfast was served on time and was cooked to perfection and included cereals, fruit and beverages.The service was excellent and Sylvia the owner was very friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble.We would have no hesitation in recommending this B&B as it is ideally situated very close to the sea front on the North Pier, near a tram stop and close to Blackpool North Station.

Clean & Friendly Guest House.
We stayed here on a overnight stop in Blackpool , on arrival we were greeted by the owner Sylvia , as the room was not ready for us she invited us into the lounge for a cup of tea which was a nice touch. The room was spotless and comfortable . In the morning the breakfast was especially good , nice portions and good quality , everything you would like for a good hearty breakfast. Would not hesitate staying here again and recommending to others for a comfortable , clean , and friendly guest house . Top marks The Golden Sands.
