Terrible place that i ever stayed
this b&b is over rating for not even 2, is the worst place i ever stayed, the breakfast is same everyday, has no taste and dry. The woman who work was unfriendly, busy talking on her cell phone but the part time lady she was very nice and pleasant. The sheets was never changed. Our room is junk room, (i wish i took a picture), was very expensive too. Beware if the place is non refundable that mean something. Stayed this pkace is the worst.

Great service and information!
I visited New York for the first time with my 2 kids over spring break 2013. The information I got from Lonnie in advance was completely accurate. We walked to the subway station both days but I felt safer taking the taxi back at night (worth the $5.25 fare). Keisha was great. She was around when we needed her but gave us plenty of privacy too. The only trouble we had was with the GPS in Jersey City! The gated parking was a money saver and we enjoyed our stay. We plan to stay again in the future! Melissa & Kids

Very satisfied with our 4 night stay at the B&B.
Easy walking distance to the Path station with access to convenience, grocery and liquor stores if required. We were pleased to find a large and fully equipped room. The free WIFI was very useful. Access to the PC and printer was quite appreciated. Thanks for the free breakfasts and pleasant conversations. We spent very little time at the B&B as everyday was a new adventure in NYC. We found the B&B safe and quiet. The bed in our suite was very comfortable! We arrived via Amtrak at PENN Station. After a few minutes, we eventually found way to Journal Square then took a short taxi ride to t.he B&B for less than $6. That was the only time we took the taxi. Riding on the Path to and from NYC was very easy. We had a detailed itinerary for the trip and almost did everything we had planned. We have a good excuse to go back for the spots we missed. The Bodies Exhibition was still closed due to hurricane Sandy and we were not able to get off to walk around the Statue of Liberty again because of the hurricane; although there was nothing to indicate that there was any damage - the boat ride to the Statue of Liberty was quite pleasant. In short, the B&B exceeded our needs and expectations - Thank You! We will definitely go back

Truly a great value
I stayed at Jersey City's B and B for 2 weeks in January this year and I must say that I really enjoyed it there. Getting a full breakfast daily and Keisha and Mya cleaning my room every day and getting me new clean towels daily made me feel like I was staying at a 4 Star Hotel, but for about half the price of what I'd have to pay there. And thank you Lonnie for all the great advice and tips about NYC. You were really a great help. And thanks for the ride into Manhattan that day we were both heading out at the same time. I really enjoyed chatting with you in the car also. And those free sodas in the room were a nice extra you have, but the greatest thing about your place was having the computer and printer in my room. That is something you almost never find anywhere else. Thanks again for the great hospitality, and I certainly will be back again soon.Dennis

What a fantastic place!
We (husband and 12 year old boy) couldn't have been happier anywhere else. The place was clean and the host Lonnie was very friendly and helpful. And Keisha made us a spectacular breakfast every day and gave us lots of informative pointers about what to do and see each day in the big city. We left there a couple of days ago for a 5 day vacation and we never would have known about Hurricane Sandy if everyone wasn't talking about it all the time. However, every place we went to was open and functioning like Sandy never happened. All in all, we'd have to say that this was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had at a B and B, and we have stayed at many of them. The walk to the train was a short one and the wait to get the train was never more than a minute or two. And again Lonnie, thanks for the ride to the train the day you took us. And one more thing, thanks again for telling us about getting the 1/2 price tickets at 199 Water Street in the South Street Seaport instead of going to Times Square. You were right, there were no lines there at all and they had a great selection of plays to see at half price as you said there would be.Thank you again Lonnie and Keisha for a great week.Mary and Lou Paterson from Maine
