Cheap & very cheerful
This was an 'in-between' holiday we decided to fit in between 2 main holidays as the weather in the UK had been so dreadful. We didn't want to break the bank so looked for something cheap as possible. We know Lanzarote very well so knew whereabouts these apartments were so decided to take a chance (some of the reviews where not very promising). Right from the start from helpful reception & lovely clean pool area, clean & pleasant apartment & very nice bar area, where we had excellent lunches, there was nothing to complain about. Lack of Wifi only meant getting passwords from the many bars with free wifi. The lack of a microwave meant using pans on the hob for breakfast - not much of a hardship! All-in-all we had a lovely break & will certainly consider going back in future years.

So chilled
This is a small famly run complex with very comfortable if basic accommodation, if you are expecting champagne luxury for lemonade prices forget it, go and book into a 5* hotel and pay the fully inclusive prices. If however you wish to have an affordable, very relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. The apartments are very clean and very comfortable. the beds are on the firm side but I personally prefer that. They are cleaned and serviced 5 times a week by very personable and trustworthy staff who are very unobtrusive. There are two reasonable pools and a baby paddling pool which are cleaned daily very well. They are a bit on the cool side but seems to warm up once you are in. There are plenty of loungers in the three sun terraces. The poolside bar is very pleasant with the bar staff vey friendly where you can buy reasonably priced snacks with a happy hour between 1600-1700 very day.The complex is about 10 minutes walk from the sea front promenade and the beaches. You will also find any number of restaurants and bars to cater for most tastes. The Cafe del Carmen is our personal favourite and you have to try the fish platter for 2 at around 14Eu pp A local excursions worth doing is the grand tour see mark at last minute bookings next to the barcelo club on the sea front. it will be the best 45 euros pp you will spendWe love this place and will come again and so do a lot of other people. My only recommendation to the managment would be to instal free WiFi for your guests.

poor location
I stayed in these apartments in feb13 they are very basic for normal self-catering, with the usual grubby cutlery and utensils. I had a toaster which must been used as a money box, and was more likely to kill you than toast bread, no other available was my complaint. The main row of apartments we were in, ran north/south so no sun after 11am. When i booked i was told they were on the main strip, in fact its a good 15/20 mins on a hot day. All in all you get what you pay for, there was two small pools with limited amount of sunbeds. The chance of getting one in summer is nil, due to the apartments bordering the pools.

god value
We stayed here for seven nights. They are in a good position - only a short walk (about 10 mintes) to the front and its beaches and a 3euro taxi ride back in the evening. The accommodation is basic, but good - single beds, cooking facilities, shower and tv. The rooms were reasonalbly clean - they were done every day, but the front surfaces of cupboards, doors and pelmets were very dusty. The poolside areas were good, though we went to the beaches everyday. The bar is good - it is reasonably priced and does basic food, eg breakfasts and toasties etc., if you need it. You can buy bottled water there at 2euros for 5l and milk at 1.50 for a litre.

Enjoyable holiday
Me and my husband have just come back from staying at these apartments and really enjoyed ourself, they are very basic but for the price we paid for a quick winter break we couldn't of asked for anything better, they are clean and a cleaning service 5 times a week although this isn't needed. The reception wasn't open when we arrived at about 8.30pm so we got our keys from the pool bar, we were greeted by a lovely girl who gave us ours keys. The reception closed for a few hours a day and closed at 1 on a sunday so it was the lady behind the bar that dealt with everything after that. there was a BBQ night and Karaoke night on Wednesday which we enjoyed and got talking to some of the other holiday makers. There are 2 pools but no one used them while we were there as they were freezing but i have stayed in Lanzarote before and that hotels pool was the same. it was about 5 mins walk to the shops and the beach or rocks and about a 10 mins walk to the old town and a better bit of the beech. I will defiantly return to Lanzarote and would defiantly return to this hotel, and would also take my family to this hotel, there were a few young crowds but they were very respectful and never made any noise, also quit a few older couples and a few families which mixed very well.
