Just returned from 10 day stay at the hotel. Plus points where cleanliness and location, towels changed every day and bed sheets changed regularly with hotel being 5 mins from the beach. Food was fresh every meal, however a bit lukewarm and choice limited if you didn't eat pork or seafood. Rooms where the smallest I have ever stayed at, couldn't open up wardrobe door fully because it was blocked by the bed. Staff where very friendly at the hotel and the bar staff where very busy at night time. Beer being served in small glasses was pointless and would be best to provide in pint size glasses, don't know many men who go to a bar and order half a pint of beer! Bad part of the hotel was the noise, particularly the room doors. Guests coming back early hours in morning would wake you up, because of the loud noise from their door closing and room walls very thin so people having showers early in the morning would wake us up- sounded like pneumatic drill! Also noise from people at pool in early hours could be heard at the top of hotel- staff did not seem to approach them to reduce noise to consider other guests. The hotel has got some work to do before I would recommend this to anyone.

Myself and my partner have just returned from the Alba seleqtta hotel. We were dropped off at the top of the road by the coach and after a short walk arrived at what seemed like the back of the hotel - the layout is rather confusing with reception on the ground floor, pool area accessible from 2 floors and car park on the sixth.... First impressions were good, we were given our bands and cards and went up to the room which was spotlessly clean, a good size with good storage space and a comfy bed. After being in the room for a short while, we discovered it wasn't in a great location - right next to the lift and on the busiest floor and so quite noisy but after asking at reception, were offered another room with no problem whatsoever. Food was on the whole pretty average with lots of choice but again, as another reviewer has previously said, the restaurant staff - the older man and woman are just rude, we felt that the Spanish guests were given preferential treatment such as water and wine being taken to their table and children being fussed over whilst other guests waited for a drink and got ignored. The variety of drinks on offer for all inclusive guests was good - with baileys, vodka,gin, Malibu to name just a few with various mixers. Bar staff were happy, helpful and always very accommodating - a special mention to Carlos and the other gentleman who always greeted guests with a smile. Entertainment was ridiculously bad - DJ Anita, and the two main animacion people lacked enthusiasm and confidence and really need to go on some training.... the lady singer who sang on friday night caused most people to vacate the room....on the positive side, all entertainment was translated into english and french. Location of the hotel is brilliant - 2 minutes from the beach and surrounded by plenty of bars, restaurants and tourist shops and just 15 minutes from the main club strip or 9 euros in a taxi. Yes there were some noisy guests but the hotel have strict measures in place to prevent antisocial behaviour. Would we stay here again? Yes.

stayed at hotel in june 2013, the hotel was clean but i was all inclusive you had to stand in a separate queue in bar for drinks , with only one staff serving the wait was some times 30 mins or more at a time, but if you payed for your drinks you were treated like kings and queens ,i think they forgot that as a all in we had pay all ready ,the entertainment was very poor in fact if you can call it that, it was very bad at night with young guest runing and screaming in corridors till early hours, would i stay again at this hotel, no.

Amazing hotel if you like to party... we loved running around the hotel at 5 am drunk :) just wished everyone else could join in with us...Also what fantastic sleep you get at 7am once everybody goes down to the beach :)Food= great, Hotel staff= greatPARTY= Great :)

This is a 4* hotel which just about deserves it's rating. There is a wide variety of amenities including an indoor swimming pool, a good games room, a Library, spa, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The lobby is spacious and the rooms a good size with a large bathroom, big tv (providing about 10 channels with english language programmes). The rooms are cleaned everyday, towels changed regulary and bedding changed at least once during a week's stay.The outdoor pool area is on 3 levels but does not provide enough room for sunbeds. If the weather had been nice, we would all be crammed in like sardines. There is entertainment every night, not brilliant but ok.The bar area is quite large but for AI customers they only provide a small part of it. All drinks are served in plastic glasses but waiting time is no more than 5 minutes even at the busiest period. The young bar staff are generally polite and friendly but adhere to the policy of the amount of drinks given out at any one time. I went with my wife so was allowed 2 drinks, but if you are on your own you will only be served 1 drink. (Apparantly they can tell by the wristband you are wearing).I found the food generally poor with a limited choice, especially if like me you do not eat red meat. The soup was watery, and the deserts below the standard expected of a 4* establishment. My wife and I actually lost weight during the week there. This is my seventh review and I have never given below a very good rating. At the outset I want to make it clear that what I am about to write does not include any of the younger staff who I found to be courteous, polite and very helpful.In the restaurant, the restaurant manager and his sidekick (a woman in her 50,s) treated AI customers as inferior to paying and Spanish customers. In 16 visits to the restaurant they never smiled at me, quite forcibly told us to wait until seated, and then literally frog marched you to your table. Their choice of where you were to sit, there's, not ours. No 'olas', no pleasantry's, just looks that said I do not want you here. Asking for a drink at the bar was uncomfortable as they plainly did not want you in the room. This happened at every serving making mealtimes an uncomfortable experience. When paying guests or Spanish people entered the room they recieved far superior treatment. At one sitting a young Spanish couple with a young child had 2 members of staff looking after them while my wife and I had 6 plates waiting to be cleared.If this hotel want's to provide an AI option, then they need to get ALL of their staff to treat us as equals to every other guest. You cannot have a two tiered system where some guest are treated better than others.I will never return to this hotel or any of the Alba chain because of my experience here. I suggest that until this two tiered system by some staff is sorted there will be many guests who feel similar to me.
