A great Saturday night
We were going to Niagara-on-the-Lake on Sunday and decided to leave one day early, found this little gem. Twenty Valley is amazing, check out the wineries (we stumbled upon an open house at 13th Street Winery, a great time for everyone). The hotel is quiet (an arm of Inn on the Twenty, where we checked in). There is nothing wrong with the place and the room. I think the description said we had a view of the Valley, which is a bit of a stretch (view of the parking lot and part of the town). The Jordan House pub in the same building is a must-visit; we had a great meal with fanastic atmosphere and music, it felt like we were in Saint John's for a bit (Irish dancing and fiddle music). The TV in the room is a bit small but you should not stay in your room and watch TV, there is too much to see and do.

Great mid-week stay
Stayed one night in a Executive room (#107) with breakfast included at the Inn on the Twenty included. This was a planned short stay on our way back to Ottawa. Ended up we had a great spacious and quiet room with a large bathroom. Parking was very handy for luggage handling. Also very hand slipping to the Jordan House Tavern for dinner. Great value and even better breakfast. All well worth it. Will return.

Charming, with quirks
Jordan House is a quaint inn and rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms are full sized with decent products. We stayed on a Saturday night after attending a wedding at the sister location, Inn on the Twenty. We were in a large room upstairs and yes, you can hear the music from the Tavern but for us, it was the late-night street noise (motorcyclists revving, shouting partygoers, cars) that was disruptive, so no fault of the hotel! Bed was a double and the mattress on the pull out couch certainly needs an upgrade. Bathrobes are provided. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great gate-way to the Niagara Wine Country
The Jordan House has always been our go-to for a last minute jaunt to the wonderful Niagara Wine Country. They always have rooms available and the rates are reasonable (especially compared to it's sister hotel, Inn on the Twenty) and as a bonus you get the breakfast from the Inn on the Twenty restaurant. We did dinner once, and it is expensive, but then learned of About Thyme restaurant right up the road. A much better experience and value. The Jordan House is also very close to Tawse and Meglomaniac wineries, both of which we love to visit. The location is central and easy to visit all different wineries in the region. The town is cute, albeit touristy, and there is fun hike at Balls Falls close by. I've never had a problem with the amenities at the hotel - however sometimes they don't staff the front desk and you have to walk down to the Inn on the Twenty to check in.

Overpriced
We were excited about our trip to Jordan. First we went to the very charming inn but were told our reservations were at a different location.. The Jordan House, at a package price of $500(includes 2 breakfasts and one dinner) has been a total disappointment. I don't find the rooms to be updated, as advertised and not terribly clean. The pillow coveting is yellowed and smells oily. The handle on the toilet has to be lifted after every flushing. This for $500? And where's the staff?The tavern next door is charming and our dinner was great. The townspeople and shops are lovely. Just don't stay here. Our hotel room in Newark was much nicer for half the price.
