not what we remembered but great anyway!!!
although the sol post apartments is still advertised as a family hotel, with the casablanca, paddys irish bar and gym dont be deceived, they were all closed. it is now full of 18-30 type holiday makers, but this didnt spoil our holiday, we were made really welcome by the other guests and joined in with most things. We arrived quite late at night so didnt get an evening meal, so we went to our friends place BAR MINIMAL (please visit sergio and Alberto they used to be staff at the sol post) to get food and drinks. on the last day thinking we were entitled to breakfast lunch and dinner as we left late our bands were cut off as soon as we had to check out at 10am. apart from this the place is still good.

Great
Always go on holiday with the girls every year and this was our best yet! Our 1st time in ibiza and we have since decided to never go anywhere else but Ibiza!Hotel IMO, is great. Food is alright, there could be a wider choice but me and my friends love our food and it suited us perfectly. Rooms are the same really, decor is a little dated but in general, the rooms are of a good standard and most importantly, clean and looked after by the maids every day.We read some reviews prior to our stay about thieving and after we had returned home, we decided that the people who had supposedly been stolen from must have just been plain stupid or completely intoxicated 24 hours of the time, during their stay! We paid for a safe, as we do on every holiday regardless of place, and had one for each of our two rooms. We kept everything in there when it wasn't being used or if we were out including ipods, phones even straighteners (just to be on the safe side!) and all of our things were fine and exactly as we had left them when we returned!!As in every hotel, there is a standard to be maintained and we understood that and the hotel doesn't enjoy extreme rowdiness well into the night because its just the way it is! We are a bunch of 21 year olds looking for a good time and setting out with the intent to get completely trashed every night and we returned late every night, succeeding our vows and being rowdy. However, we knew the limits and as long as you don't go overboard the hotel are completely fine! A group of girls got thrown out of the hotel when we arrived because they were shouting across the balcony to the pool area and generally disturbing everyone else in the hotel including families with little kids which is obviously not good! The hotel is mainly young people aged 20-30 which suited us perfectly. There were also a few families who enjoyed their holidays undisturbed (most of the time) as it's a good hotel which suited everyone's needs including typically ibiza music at the pool for us "adults" and kids club/entertainment around pool and early at night. The hotel is situated fairly I think, its not right in the thick of the hustle and bustle of clubs but it's not terribly far either. It's quite a walk into central san antonio and where the hotel is situated, the road is one way heading away from san ant. However, there are a lot of roads heading up to the main road (right out of hotel front door and right again up a straight road which is one of many which meets main road) where there are loads of bus stops (15 min ride if that) and taxis will pick you up from there too (which are cheap and not expensive at all).Peppers is a bar for pre-drinks/coming home drinks on same road of hotel which we highly recommend! All in all, I would stay here again. I really loved it. Great value for money (All inclusive mid july for ¿¿460 and could have got it cheaper!)Highly recommend!!

Lovely hotel for the price :~)
Just arrived back after a week at the Sol Post. We were looking for a quiet week just before the winter so we picked this hotel knowing the clubs had closed and from the other reviews it looked just perfect. we arrived at the hotel around 6.30pm and checked in with the guy behind the desk, his english was not to clever but he was more than helpfull, shame about the young girl moaning at him about needing to get into her room as she needed her tampons. The Apartment was ideal with kitchen, 2 single beds which were pushed together, large lounge and bathroom. The only choice you realy have to make is do you have an apartment over looking the pool area were the sun go's down around 2pm or an apartment on the main road were you get the late evening sun and a gorgeous sunset but traffic noise we had room 302 over looking the road. We opted for the al inclusive option and ventured down for our first meal around 8pm the dinning room was clean and the food layout was good. The salad selection consisted of approx 16 bowls followed by a choice of 8 hot dishes, one always a pasta the rest varied from fresh fish, beef, chicken or pork meals, some rice and chips every evening but all freshly cooked and trays changed as soon as they were empty. Deserts were adequate always cream cakes, jelly, moouse, ice cream, half peaches in a large bowl and fresh fruit.Fresh bread rolls and of course you could go back as often as you liked. The following morning breakfast was a choice of 5-6 cereals, toast, jam, ham, cheese, tea and coffee and as much bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, omlettes, beans and freshed cooked eggs, fried, scramblled and boiled, cakes and fruit as you can eat and again always hot and fully stocked. the coffee machine is not the best but good enough. Dinner was the same again a good choice of hot and cold meals with plenty to go around. if you go there expected more flash than 3 star food then you might be diappointed but go there expecting adequate food then you'll be full everyday. The pool area was cleaned and tided each evening, it did have the odd cracked tile but nothing dangerous. The pool was teasted each morning for the chlorine level and topped up if needed. The water was a bit nippy but with 80 degree heat it was most welcome, sun loungers were in need of repair and it did take a while to find decent one and if the hotel was packed this might be a problem. The pool bar served hot and cold drinks from 10am - 11pm each day in plastic cups maybe not the best but it did stop any glasses being smashed and causing cuts,The rooms were cleaned everyday except Monday and Thursdays but there was always a trolley left somewhere on each landing were you could get fresh towels. There was the odd person who moaned about something and everything but overall a excellent week, quiet and relaxing. would recomment this hotel to anyone looking for a 3star, would be a lot louder in high season but in October it was just what we were looking for. Well done Sol Post:

Nothing Wrong with this Place
Hi there i just wanted to express my view on this hotel, after reading the reviews online i was slightly scared about what i was getting myself into. I went on holiday with two of my friends we are all mid twenties, and wanted a cheap holiday stay in Ibiza so we could have somewhere to lay our heads between clubbing. It cost us 400 pounds for 10 nights all inclusive. We were not expecting the red carpet rolled out but were not disappointed whatsoever about what we experienced. We arrived the hotel was ideally situated on a street with shops and bars, it costs about 8 euros to get to the main strip in San Antonio but was ideal. It is about 10 minute walk from an ideallic beach, don't bother with transfers just get a taxi outside the airport cost us about 25 euro. The hotel room was large had seperate areas for the kitchen and had a lovely large balcony facing the pool. On our first day the balcony door was broken but we reported it and it was fixed within 24 hours. Air conditioning was included, the staff were friendly, the maids lovely and said morning to us everyday cleaned 8 days out of the 10 we were there! The food was fine, lots of variety and saved us a packet as it meant we didn't have to eat out every night. We still went out for lunch and dinner some days but we liked the fact we didn't have to think about paying some days for food and drink. Great selection of drinks in the all inclusive so great as a pre drinking session. We managed to get sunloungers most days but the days we didnt we just cruised round the pool on lilos or went off to the beach/san an. To get to the main clubs Amnesia/Pacha costs about 25 euros or so. But we found we could get the water taxi over then the party bus which cost very little. The water taxi is great too nice way to see the island! In the hotel there was a mixture of families and young people, i would say it is probably best for families with older children or young party goers as the mix was a bit strange you would have loud music some nights and really young kids staying there can't imagine that being ideal for a parent. But hey you are going to IBIZA so i have no idea what some people expect. I would highly recommend this hotel for young adults who want somewhere decent to stay inbetween experiencing the Ibiza life!

Average for 3 star
Not a bad place to stay for what you expect from a 3*. All inclusive food wasn't all that. We found that we ate out most of the time but I did have breakfast everyday which was okay. We had to check out at 12 midday and we were getting picked up til 12am midnight and they let us go back into an apartment for a shower in the evening which was nice. The only bad thing really were the sunbeds. Old, tatty, uncomfortable and falling to pieces. No hope in hell of sunbathing on those. Best to go to the beach!
