My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Berkeley for a weekend at the end of April and it was such a lovely friendly guest house. The manager Daniel went out of his way to ensure we had a good, comfortable stay and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too. There was loads of choice and the cooked breakfast was not greasy at all and all cooked freshly to order.Our room was a good size and really clean. We could not fault it and will definately be returning again in the future.

The guest house is in an ideal location for theatres, town and seafront, and offers comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. Daniel the manager was very friendly and helpfull, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, better than some expensive hotels, plenty of choice, and cooked to order. We have stayed in various places in the town before, all have been fine, but this was by far the best value so far. We'll be visiting again.

Fourteen of us recently travelled from Northern Ireland to attend a Conference, we booked into the Berkeley Guest House and what a treat we had. The rooms were spacious and spotless with complimentary tea/coffee and bottled water, large bathroom with nice toiletries. The manager/owner Daniel was most welcoming and extrememly helpfull, breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh to order. The location is excellent very close to the sea front and centre of Eastbourne. I would most definitely recommend a stay at the Berkeley and we look forward to returning in the very near future.

Booked 1 night B&B for my family and friendly pet lab, Raven. We had 2 rooms - both were spacious and clean with a good selection of complimentary tea/coffee. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. Internet connection to our iPhones & iPads was a bit erratic. Breakfast was very good, cooked fresh to order and tasted great. Overall a lovely place to stay.

I have just spent a lovely girly weekend at the Berkeley Eastbourne and had to write a review as a way of saying thank you. The hotel itself is smart and comfortable with an old school vibe (red carpets and dark wood lounge) that is cosy and inviting and a perfect way to escape the bitter (March!!) weather outside. We shared a double room with a single bed for 3 people which was spacious and coped well with 3 girls and their exploding luggage. There isn¿¿¿t parking allocated but we were furnished with a visitor permit on arrival at no extra cost which was a lovely introduction to the level of service the Berkeley provides. Breakfast for us was a fresh fruit medley and toast followed by a freshly cooked to order full English which is all included in the room rate and was delicious. But the review really is for the service. We had a minor drama when we stayed that was nothing to do with the hotel but which the Manager Daniel stepped in to help us sort out; he went out of his way to accommodate us and turned what could have been a disaster into a wonderful weekend. A deserved 5 stars from us.
