Just right
For my most recent trip to BKK I downgraded from Bangkok Legacy Suites in order to save a few ¿¿s. I loved the location. The Soi is no worse than any other on Sukhumvit. The hotel looks a bit worn: expect a cracked mirror. We ended up paying ¿¿35 per night including breakfast (which was fine).TV reception could be better and there is no DVD player. Minor issues!

Huge room, but no gym, pool and poor internet connection
The rooms at Kingston are huge and well decorated. This is fine, but not sure why you need so much empty space in a hotel room? The breakfast is good.The internet is awful, either slow or repeatedly dropping out. There is no gym or pool (you can use the facilitates at the President Palace next door). Not worth staying if you expect any of these things.

Very poor internet connection! Dont pay more than 1700 THB a night!
Worth staying if you can get a 'deal' 2nd time I have stayed, on both occasions the internet was intermittent. Staff try to be helpful, I wanted to extend my stay the reception refused telling me to book on line, which I attempted to do, however the price quoted was an astounding 9,514 Baht a night!! compared to the 1,629 Baht a night I paid for the previous 3 nights! When I questioned this I was told it was because they were fully booked, but if I really wanted to extend our stay I could do so if I paid the inflated price????Although I (again) requested an early check in and smoking room the room was not available however we were given a room on the 6th floor for one night (unlike on the first occasion when after traveling all night I had to wait 4 hours before checking in) unfortunately the room particularly the bathroom stank which I was told was due to the plumbing, they did spray it which did the trick until the morning, then we moved to our original room which lacked pillow cases & had not been cleaned properly, but this was quickly rectified. Pros: Good location, complimentary tuk-tuk service to nearby BTS & MRT Stations. The doorman is very knowledgeable and helpful.Cons: Bad internet connection and limited to 2 appliances per room (which is ok if you are alone, but totally insufficient if with someone), rooms do not have a fridge it is more of a wine cooler (no freezer compartment) crammed full of hotel beverages leaving no room to store your own items.For the pool etc you have use of the adjoining buildings facilities. As I said it represents good value for money if you can get a deal on line but NO WAY is this a 9,000 Baht a night hotel.They really need to get the internet connection sorted out and have some continuity with their pricing policy.

Best hotel stay
Location is prime, 7mins to asoke station. Close by to robinson shopping mall. In walking distance sites such as terminal 21. Wide spread of selection for breakfast, a combination of local and continental spread. Staffs are very friendly, communicates well in english. Complimentary wifi is included in stay. Will definitely come back to Kingston and recommend it to my friends.

great location, great value for money
We chose this hotel as it is situated near two different BTS skytrain routes and the metro - and it made our few days in Bangkok so easy to get around. The hotel has a complimentary tuk tuk service if you don't want to stroll for 10 minutes to the BTS stations. Our room was large, clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast service started early and ran late so even the days we had a tour arranged we were able to have breakfast before we left. I would stay here again for definite.
