Affordable and quiet
The rooms in this small, hidden place are not the best, but also not the worst, same about the cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nights have been quiet so we could catch good sleep. The hotel is situated close to a railway station to the airport and close to the embassies. If you get a taxi to Kao San Road it costs you about 200 Baht (you should always get a taxi with taximeter, if they refuse to turn it on, just leave the taxi right away, the next one will just be approaching), so you can still enjoy the famous sights and party life, whilst having a quiet place to sleep.l

A small quiet hotel
When we arrive at Don Mueng the taxi driver did not use the meter and charge us around 400bth.He is not sure where is the place until I spoke to him in Thai.Upon arrival the staff let us check in into the room straight away.The room is not to great but not too bad either.It's clean and the towels smell fresh.The bathroom is quite big also.The hot shower will turn on a few minutes after your turn it on.It's no problem for me as I like cold shower.The Hotel was best if you arrive from Survanabhumi Airport as the Rachaprarop Station is less than 100 meters away.This will save you on taxi fares.The MRT is connected to the BTS at the Phaya Thai St..which is the last station for that particular MRT.The fares to the BTS from Rachaprarop sation is 15Bth and now they have a promotion from 11am-3pm and you only pay 20Bth to any station.There is 1 7-11 stores at the end of the road.It will take you about 15 minutes to walk to Pratunam Area.If you plan to go to Chatujak Market or what they call JJ,take the MRT to the last station and change to BTS to Mo Chit St.(30BTH).We have a good sleep as we are very tired of walking around and the surrounding is very quite.The TV dont have any satellite station but who needs TV on holiday?Overall the place is quite good and a pair of good walking shoes is needed if you like to walk around like us instead of taking the taxi/tuk2.

Nice homely place
This hotel is a small one that is very homely. There are no crowds here and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They all speak english and willing to help. The only thing is that it is down a alley you need a hotel visiting card to give the cab drivers as no one seem to know this hotel much. Just about 5 minutes close to the airport railway link which was convenient. IF you are going with children this is not a ideal place as they don't have a swimming pool. Not bad for the price you pay. Internet was free as well.

Just perfect
We have stayed in S2S a numerous of times as we live acorss the border and visit Bangkok regurlarly. It remains a budget option with exceptional value and freindly staff. The rooms are convenient and as we often travel with our grandkids, the junior suites are just perfect for that. Large and practical. The beds are huge which is an advantage when you have young kids with you. Breakfast is basic but provides exactly what you need. The location is slightly in the back but a 10 minute walk lands you at Bayoke Market in the middle of Pratunam. Another advantage is the new skytrain station and airport express of Makassan. This is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel so straight from the airport a very easy option for a stay. We sincerely hope S2S keeps it up as we will be retunring more often.

OK, close to Victory monument
OK budget hotel close to Victory monument van station. A bit dated but nothing major wrong with the place. Comfy bed, hot shower and no big disappointments. Free Wifi, efficient aircon and good coffee. Difficult to walk to Victory monument though since the place is surrounded by roads impossible to cross on foot...but 60 Baht in a taxi is not the end of the world!
