Nice hotel, but pick the right room
I had a very good 4 night stay at the Embassy Suites. Excellent lobby and entrance. Easily accessible and well-lit underground parking. My two room suite was large with a kitchen/bar area and separate bedroom - overall much bigger than the average L.A. hotel. My only complaint were the few signs of age in my room - chipped furniture, stained carpet, marks on the wall - none too major, but could be better. Also, my advice is to pay the extra money and pick a city view or mountain view room. Otherwise you only have a view of the hotel atrium, which is a bit claustrophobic.

Rewarding experience
Stayed for four nights while on business. The staff was courteous and helpful. I greatly appreciated that the staff was able to provide an area map with suggestions for dinner ...even though they serve dinner at the hotel. My room was comfortable and had all the amenities that I needed.

2 room suite does not mean 2 bedroom
I searched a lot of hotels for my LA trip and found this one because I needed a 2 Bedroom suit. So I happily booked this hotel because it stated "2 room suite". But when I got there, the room was actually an ONE bedroom...So I went to the front desk and asked if there was a mistake, the guy had a bad attitude with a shocking face that was saying "2 room suite means living room and bedroom!" This totally ruined my trip because we had 4 adults, and we needed 2 bedroom with 2 double beds in each room... I know this may partially be my fault for not reading the description details closely, but the title of "2 room suite" is very misleading, if it was a 1 bedroom and a living room, it should be called "One Bedroom Suite". However, the room was alright, modern looking, and decent, but the mattress was awful it was very very soft and dented in the middle... the bed would bounce dramatically when you try to flip sides in ur sleep. Overall I wouldn't come back to this hotel.

great rooms
lobby, Atrium area is very nice. as with all Embassy suites the free cocktails at happy hour and snacks are a nice treat, especially if you are waiting to meet someone. the complimentary made to order breakfast area has a nice patio to eat since the weather is usually nice in So. Cal.The restaurant manager was very helpful as well.

nice accommodation
really great staff on a big and service-minded hotel. a bit out from central Glendale, big room, slightly boring decorated with all the practical stuff you need. for an american hotel really great breakfast!
