good except for dim lights
Stayed here for one night on business in June 2013. Location of hotel is excellent - easy walking distance from station and centre of town. I found the staff there to be very helpful and the room (10th floor) was generally very good. My only problem was the lighting in the room that was very dim and after dark made it impossible to do any work - even the desk lamp had a dim bulb with orange fitting that blocked most of it out. I would stay here again for leisure but not for business because of this.

Great Stay
Stayed one night on 1st June. Although we arrived early the reception staff were brilliant and checked us in smoothly. Stayed on 6th floor and room was lovely. Bed very comfortable and view was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

great time
Stayed in a junior suite on the 19th floor on Saturday 1st June. Had a fabulous time. We visited as a family of 3, attending the speedway grand prix at the millenium stadium. The room was huge, Really comfortable and very clean. Speedy, friendly and polite check-in. Brilliant breakfast on sunday morning and served till 1pm! Great location for the shops etc and for the stadium. Found everyone from Reception, Bar Staff and Restaurant staff a pleasure. Will definitely be back .

Lovely although questionable!
Stayed here on Sunday the 26 for one night. Stayed on the 12th floor. Little noisy with the trains, but that can't be helped. Booked through the website in advance, the room we were allocated was a disabled room... Not really a problem, but I would have preferred a bath as I'm not a shower person. And there's always a worry you'll pull one of the red emergency cords. Check in was a bit tedious. All 3 desks were open and staffed, but took quite a while to be seen. I didn't know how to use the phone in the room, and it kept ringing. So I went down to the front desk to enquire about it and no staff had tried calling, but were told you can do room to room calls. Not the best when you've been travelling all day and just want a afternoon nap! But the staff were lovely. The bed was two singles put together which was a little uncomfortable, and the floor was wet near the door and never dried. Left early due to work, check out was quick and easy. Will stay in a Radisson again, but preferably not a disabled room!

Fantastic value
I like Radisson Blu hotels and this was OK. There a few silly annoying things such as the dim lighting in the bedroom. There were no lights anywhere near the comfy chair so you had to sit at the desk or lie in bed to read. Otherwise the room was well thought out.Free wifi was a bonus. The position is great. We were lucky with the lifts and reception having no problems.We stayed in room 1609 which was quiet and had a great view of lots of building works.
