Front desk staff unprofessional

I tried to stay here but walked out. - On arriving to the front desk at 2 am I was surprised to receive a orange juice. A nice touch -but then my room booking could not be found on the computer. After 10 minutes - I had to start my (slow) laptop and then show I had a booking - it was found entered on their computer for next year. A mistake but these things happen. However the rest was insulting and rude.The front desk staff including the night manager assumed it was my fault the booking was incorrect - offered me a room at full price and then when I complained waved me goodbye. I went to the IBIS Al-Rigga nearby (cheaper and better location).After confirming it was not my travel agents fault, I went back to the hotel a day later and received an apology. The manager confirmed that the front desk staff were unprofessional and should have given me a room and sorted it out the morning. Of course they also indicated I would receive an email to say sorry but still waiting. The travel agent has however received a reply - they want the business.This is a hotel where the night front desk staff and manager are untrained in the hotel systems and unprofessional. In addition they are all talk when found to be at fault and do not follow through. This franchise is a disgrace to the Holiday Inn name.

Average hotel close to Metro Station

Hotel is quite close to Al Rigga Metro Station from where you can reach almost every destination in Dubai for good prices.Hotel standard is avarage, however they claim to be a 4 star hotel what I doubt. Cleanliness is OK but for a city like Dubai I expect more in terms of Cleanliness. Also Room standard could be more modern than it is.But in total good option for a good price.

Good Stay

The hotel is located near to the airport. We were so happy with the classic hospitality and care from the hotel staff. All staff are well trained and groomed . Rooms are so clean and very pleasant fragrance we found in the room all the time. Rooms are well maintained.Service is very good. We will definitely choose the same hotel during our next trip.Really impressed from the staff and management team hospitality.

Good Quality at this Holiday Inn

We got there a good Quality at this Holiday Inn in Dubai. Comfortable and pretty large Room (Standard Room). Especially the Breakfast Selection was large and very nice decorated. We had been there with our Travelfriends and also they liked the Hotel. We also liked the friendly Employees.

a pretty good holiday inn, quiet room

it was a 2 nights trip to dubai and we went into that holiday inn. a nice and friendly hotel with modern style and very friendly employees. value there was fully ok and we can recommend that hotel to others. quite room.
