excellent place. quite and peaceful. plenty of taxi avaiable. central location. neat and clean accomodation. good cooperative staff. slightly far from the metro station. nearest was alkarama requires taxi to reach there for 10 darham. super market nearby at walking distance. good to stay with family. nice suits . plenty of space. worth its price. nice kitchen.

Worst Experience in a 5 days trip
The hotel has enough space but the breakfast is summarized by a bread with orange juice... stayed in the painthouse and expected to have a clean room, but both rooms were terrible dirt, AC does not working in one of them also bathroom was dirt, with wall not painted and roof with damages. The hotel furniture are cheap and looks like was bought 30 years ago, without maintenance. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, worst hotel I ever stayed. No value for the money you pay.THe location is good, far 20 minutes by walk from metro/train and convenience stores are pretty close, where you can by some cheap food and have a fast food lunch.

Worst hotel ive stayed in
Landed in Dubai really late, 12.45 am. Reached the hotel just before 2am. James was there at the reception. On check in, he told us on our room booking, we booked a studio suite. Basically a room sectioned off livingroom/bedroom and a separate toilet. This is not what i have booked. I booked a 1 bedroom suite. There is no way 3 people can stay in a studio suite. I think this mistake was made by barrhead travel as i even checked a few times with the man on the phone. James kindly gave us the 2 bedroom suite for 2 nights. But oh my gawd!! The 2 bedroom suite! Room 407. What a disgrace!! All rooms were filthy!! Kitchen light flashing on and off. Cigarette burns on sofa. Fungus on the tiles in the bathroom. Noisy aircorn. Damp smell coming from aircon and the room. Showers didnt have any shower curtains. Why on earth does a shower not have a shower curtain?? Surely the bathroom is going to flood! On the 3rd day, we had to move to another suite, 1 bedroom. Room 119. This room definately much cleaner, cosy and aircorn quiet. There was holes in the curtains though. 3 smashed light bulbs. 2 not lighting up. Washing machine broken.Asked for some sugar, was told to get it myself in the supermarket. Swimming pool indeed was not open through out my 1 week stay!! So funny how they advertise this hotel so nicely with the pictures but what you seen in pics is not what it is in real. All these previous complaints are all true. I should have checked trip advisor before booking this place!! On the day of check out, a man with his kid was complaining to Santhosh about how he paid for this and the swimming pool is not open!! Santhosh said the lifeguard is in hospital!! How long has this guy been in 'hospital'??!! Maybe they should hire some new. Santhosh even argued back with then man! So much customer service. SHUT THE PLACE DOWN!! 4 star?? I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE IT A 2. Mosque across the road, ask for a quiet room.

Spacious and comfy hotel but needs some fixing and services needs improvement
We stayed at ABC Arabian Suite because we booked through Barrhead Travel as a package. I was abit scared as by reading the comments but the other reviewer, the place seemed like it needed some TLC. We arrived VERY late and jetlagged, there was a confusion about our booking, the wrong room was booked which was too small. Because we complained, we were given complimentary stay (after initially being rude and telling us to sort it out ourselves and giving us attitude) in a 2 bedroom apartment the first 2 days and then moved down to a one bedroom later which we had originally booked. His name was James. Generally both these rooms where spacious, enough storage for everything and stuff generally clean. A few items did need abit of TLC, you could ignore a little dust and stain here and there. But we found some light bulb where broken, holes in the curtains and stains on chairs. Beds where comfy and a good size for 2-3 people, firm pillows and big duvets. The rooms where light and airy, the air con in the first room was abit noisy but i think we stayed in a quiet area so noise was not problem so we did sleep well. Service wise, i was a little disappointed.. from the little confusion at the start. There was also a few niggles here and there. I dont believe the staff put in the extra mile to help, they seemed to be more busy chatting on their phone or with their other colleagues. One time we asked if we could get some sugar for our porridge in our room and was told to go and buy it from outside. I mean, they have a restaurant which serves breakfast, i do not believe it would have been hard to grab a sachet from there to bring it up. Apart from that, other members of staff were friendly, Santhosh and Sushart gave us warming smiles and the housekeeping man.As the other guests has mentioned, the swimming pool was closed during stay and guess what.. on our 6 nights of stay, it was closed EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. We didnt get a chance to relax on the afternoon sun or go for a swim, the gym was closed mostly too. I did hear other guests complaining during our stay too so that definitely needs to be fixed. Our hotel is quite distant from other places, there is other apartments and a small petrol station nearby but we usually take taxis to other places as it was cheap. Its ¿¿2 to the nearest metro station and about ¿¿4 to the nearest big shopping mall, there usually is quite alot of taxis around. We didnt spend much time in the hotel, it was only a place for sleeping.We did not eat in hotel so we cannot comment on food.I disagree with the 4 star rating, i think 3 stars would have been enough for this hotel and its price.. we did book it as a package but i believe other reviewers would back me up that this hotel is just missing those extra things but are important thing. If they where fixed then i think this would a nice family hotel.

Shockingly Surpprised
I was shocked when I first walked into the lobby which was like walking into a motel 6. The site called this a 4 star hotel but was more like a 1 star for me. The room was old , had burnt electrical receptacles on the wall, the furniture was old and severely scratched up. The bathroom was full of mold and old dirty towels, carpets on the floor where stained and wall paper fallining off the wall. This was also a bad location because there is literally nothing around the place, had to take a taxi for everything including going to the groceries. Their site says free local calls but the wanted to charge me for a few domestic calls that I made and also wanted me to pay for some items missing from the mini bar or what they call a mini bar that consisted of 2 small water bottles,1 can of coke and I believe 1 mineral water. I would not recommend this hotel to no one.....
