Avoid rooms close to the pool
Music goes on until 01:00 in the morning. If you are going for business avoid the rooms close to the pool and terras for this reason.Otherwise hotel and facilities are good. Food in the restaurant is good and the staf is friendly

One of the best hotel experiences
My father in law and I visited Dubai for the very first time and needed a good hotel with the ammenities found in any American city, a/c, easy access to shopping centers, restaurants, etc. The Media Rotana had everything we needed plus a staff that made our every contact a pleasant one with their genuine and sincere attitude, from the front desk to the phone operator, including the restaurant staff.The room was just as expected, clean, sophisticated, well designed to produce a feeling of a being in a spacious room. The a/c was quiet and the bathroom was a surprise too, had a tub and a separate shower with an ample space to walk in and relax.The Terrace was an excellent place to have a drink in the evening and recuperate after a long 15hrs flight under the sky of Dubai.Breakfast buffet was an experience in itself, with the staff helping you and willing to make you feel at home surrounded by long time friends.Be sure to take their extra packages they offer, very affordable and well worth their price, the really mean well and know our needs as a tourist. Wifi internet was easy to setup, and was able to Facetime & Skype with family and friends in the USA with no problems like lag or choppy video.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in!
If you're in Dubai and don't need to be anywhere specific, STAY HERE! I've stayed in 100's of hotels in my lifetime and this by far is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! You won't be disappointed and there are too many amazing things about it for me to list them so go and see for yourself! Thank you Media Rotana!

Excellent hotel with excellent staff and excellent everything
I've visiting Dubai for long years eperiencing hotels around this beautiful city. I never expected to rate a hotel with a full mark.Media Rotana has gone beyond expection. As I saw it, it beated every other hotel in class. They're simple, yet sophisticated. I extended my stay for almost 2 more weeks now because I an feeling home.

Breakfast feast!!!
Trying to find fault for this hotel is an arduous task. Have stayed here for 3 consecutive years and looking forward to another stay in a few weeks. The room - spotless and roomy, the staff - courteous and helpful, location - so central to everything and the food - well, just try out the breakfast - you won't need to eat for the rest of the day!!! Couldn't recommend a stay here more...!
