All of the staff in this hotel pleasantly surprised me by how friendly and cheerful they were. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the tennis courts and it was an adequate size with a nice balcony, tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. The only downside was that the sofa bed for my 6 year old was not very strong but suffice for him.I was concerned after reading the reviews about noise from the street disturbing our sleep but it really wasn't too bad and i only had to use my ear plugs on a few occasions. The area definitely attracts a lot of German tourists but we ventured into the German bar opposite a few times and found it to be quite nice. Breakfast at the Playa Golf is a must as the spread is very appetizing with something for everyone, there is even Champagne!! Overall we had a nice relaxing break at this hotel and wanted for nothing so i would definitely recommend it.If you are looking for a good tapas restaurant then make sure you try El Andaluz which is a ten minute walk away, just ask reception for details like i did! Also, if you love your meat, you must go to Can Torrat restaurant which has an open air grill and i had the best lamb chops of my life in there!

i spent 8 days in this hotel and from the very beginning i was disappointed with the room which was oldie. i wanted to ask for an upgrade according with the money i paid for but the hotel was full .i was expecting more from a 4 star hotel in terms of design and furniture, etc. regarding food well it was ok, good food .. location was very good, in the front line very a few steps to the beach, a lot of shops nearby, great seaview, i didnt hear the noise coming from the street.

We stayed here for 1 night in October 2012 paying about ¿¿40 for the room including breakfast. The hotel is in a great location and is right on the beach with all the shops and bars on the doorstep but there is no hotel car parking.The hotel itself is huge ¿¿¿ typical large Spanish hotel with lots of large foyer areas and a massive bar. It was ok but all looking a bit tired and in need of some updating!We didn¿¿¿t see any entertainment because of the time of year we stayed but I think they do have some in the summer. During our stay about 95% of the guests were German.Our room was rather disappointing, really very small and poky for a 4* hotel and the dark wood furniture was all a bit shabby and outdated. The walls seriously needed decorating too and the bathroom in fairness was pretty horrendous with a fancy shower featuring lots of jets but none of them worked and were all rusty. On a positive note though the balcony was huge and looked right over the pool and to the beach and the free bathroom toiletries were a nice touch.There are 2 large outdoor pools with lots of loungers and a big slide for the kids. There is a ¿¿¿heated¿¿¿ indoor pool too but it wasn¿¿¿t heated when we were there so we couldn¿¿¿t use it and nor was the outdoor Jacuzzi heated which was shame.Breakfast was plentiful but geared up to the Germans so for those ¿¿¿fussy British eaters¿¿¿ there probably wouldn¿¿¿t be a lot you would like!I think for the price we paid it wasn¿¿¿t too bad but for what they charge during the summer months I would give it a miss if prices peak at more than ¿¿40 a night!

Excellent food, location. Furniture was not new but was very clean in the room. Excellent Staff! Our daughter was fascinated by the slide.I recommend this hotel!It has several pools . At The pool can be served with cocktail, coffee, juices ...

I loved this hotel, it was modern, the SPA was awesome and the cooking great.The bed was comfortable but I must say that with the italian shower I had in my bathroom, it was hard not to flod floor...Anyways, I tried several hotels in the area and this one was the nicest.The buffet was lovely, maybe, just If I could improve something, I would ask for some more cooked veggies for vegetarian people...there were lot's of meat to the buffet.The show tribute to Michael Jaskson was great but I think that for such a nice hotel, the artist would deserve something that looks like a stage, they could make a little effort on that and invest a little...
