Not clean.
Sadly we left disappointed after staying here, the room smelt bad and did not even have a hair dryer (even the cheapest motel I have stayed in has had one) the lift smelt like urine and when we tried to go in the pool it was surrounded by bugs which I think were roaches! there were dead wasps floating in the hot tub along with some hair! I got out pretty fast, and had to shake all the bugs out of my clothes. About 60% of the staff were a pleasure to talk to, and did improve the stay, so thank you to them: the bar man, and black jack croupiers especially.

wouldn't stay again
Our room was not clean (items on the floor in the corner indicated a poor job vacuuming), and the black-out curtains were shredded with age. The sheets were flat sheets and didn't stay tucked in. The smell of smoke permeated the lobby and casino. We were advised that the kids couldn't go into the casino, but you had to walk through the casino to go to the restaurant, so we didn't check that out. The pool looked like it wasn't clean (maybe I was hyper-sensitive to that by now!) although it was in a pleasant area. There was a charge for Internet. On the plus side, rooms were spacious. The location was beautiful, right next to Lake Mead, and minutes away from Hoover Dam. The hotel is several miles from Boulder City and we were back and forth to the town for dinner and breakfast. I would try to stay in town if I did this again.

Worst experience ever!
I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday. The entire time from beginning to end while staying here, not once did we receive a smile, welcome or any form of hospitality. The hostess tossed our menus on the table and said not one word of instruction or even acknowledgment to us. As for the rest of the staff, we were treated as if we were simply an inconvenience. The only pleasant interaction we had was with a guest in the elevator. The rooms were standard and bed was okay, it was a comfortable place to sleep. First and last time we will ever visit.

Great Place to get away from the Strip!
We stopped here for breakfast on the way to see the Grand Canyon. Wow, what a find! It is out there pretty much by itself. The restaurant had a buffet breakfast or order off the menu. We ordered off the menu and it was great. Very hot, delicious and inexpensive. Coffee was wonderful.... fresh and hot. Our waitress was funny, fast and efficient. We checked out the hotel for reference and it was very clean, staff was nice and friendly. On our way back from the Grand Canyon, we dropped back at the Hacienda and had something to drink and played the slots for a while before heading back to the Strip. This was a great place to stop at before and after as it broke up the trip giving us two nice breaks. If your intention is to see the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon then this is the place to stay. The value is superb and the service, friendliness and cleanliness is outstanding!

Excellent place to stay with easy road access
This is a excellent hotel and casino with easy on/off road access. The buffet was beyond excellent at a price that was in line with Vegas. The staff was great and appearance as well. My room had a small view but I couldn't complain with the low price that whent with the room.
