The staff were as rude as possible, when they could not find our booking they told us to f!@k off and find somewhere else!PIGSThe safe were chargeable at 4 euros per dayThey wanted to put three people in a room that was not even big enough for twoBelieve all the reviews you read that this is a terrible hotel!Dont go there at any cost!

Hotel has lot of rooms and the reception and lobby was overcrowded all the time. Rooms are small, poor but clean. Food was great, stuff very professional. They have dancing room and every night there was a huge number of retired spaniards dancing. Good place to stay just if you are not in to spending time there more then you need to sleep. The isolation between rooms is very poor. Wi fi they charge, but you may have 15 minutes for free.

Hotel is located in center of Lloret del Mar but in the same time slightly away from main noisy street, closer to a bus station. Hotel is really big, seems like more than 6000 of rooms, is have full infrastructure like a little city: 3 swimming pools (i saw and used 2 but heard about extra one indoors), tennis court, reastaurant, bar, club,maybe something else what i don't remember. I rested there in company of 2 friends during a week,we are got big and clean triple room on the 3rd floor with climate control what was very importnat in summer time, the bathroom also was very big and comfortable, big own balcony, new stuff inside. We had just breakfast there and it was pretty nice. This is about pluses in my opinion.Most and main for me and my friend minus is VERY,VERY and VERY strong noise all the time. Impossible to sleep around the clock because you can hear everything what your neighborhood doing and usually they are drinking alcohol, siniging and noise. When i left this place i slept the whole day. Another big minus for us were unfriendly, unhelpful and rude stuff. They are talking with us seems like we need to give them extra 100 euro, especially an elderly man in night time.When we are just came in hotel they are didn't expane a rules of hotel and after required to perform something what we heard the first time. We said that they are didn't expane a rules and got an answer: You should read everything on your food tickets,you are russian and you think everybody should talk russian. I was in shock because first time during my travellings i heard such a rude appeal with clients. Especially i can speak english, maybe not so good but im able to explane what i need and understand what people talk and i have never ask people in foreign countries to speak russian with me...In findings i know i will never come in Grand hotel Don Juan. This place and even Lloret del Mar city are good for very young people. People with children and simply people who come to get quiete rest can spoil their vacation there. But if you choise this hotel already and you don't want to live beetween young drunkers, ask the rooms from 2000 and further, seems they determine this housing for people with children and older people, so you can have a chance to sleep well sometimes =)Good luck

So i had booked this hotel as a 3 night break with my mum. After i had booked it i looked at this website and saw so many bad reviews i began to panic a bit. Thankfully i had an excellent experience with the hotel. We stayed on the 5th floor, room is smallish but clean and comfortable with tv. Just 1 english news channel but i survived. There was lots of groups arriving/departing each day, hotel very busy, free entertainment throughout the day such as bingo, dancing, etc. Our deal included breakfast which was buffet, the food was not my cup of tea but i am admittedly a fussy eater, my mum enjoyed it. We had dinner each evening for 12 euro each which again was buffet, included a bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water. Had something for everyone. The reception staff, restaurant staff and cleaners were all very nice and the security man was very jokey. Hotel in good location with easy walk down hill to the beach passing by lots of knick knack shops and tabac with excellent prices. My only disappointment was the indoor pool which was small. If i am ever back in Lloret i would have no problem staying here and am happy to recommend this hotel. Dont always believe the negative reviews, some people just cant be pleased!

this was the worst experience i have ever had with an hotel...the bar staff short change you the security steal from your rooms and the hotel management tried to overcharge me! the food in the restaurant was bland and tasteless.. we had bad stomachs for 3day! if you are unfortunate to stay in this hotel i would be very careful not to leave anything in your rooms and would eat and drink at other establishments! BE WARNED AND STAY CLEAR ... Chanel 4 Should do a documentary on this hotel... i was also beaten by the security for complaining about the bar staff short changing me!then i met two girls staying in the room near to us that was very scared as the security tried to force there way into their rooms late at night... we then called the police who refuse to do anything about my beating saying i asked for it by complaining and wanted to fine me ¿¿50... stay away from the Don Juan and Lloret De Mar.... we will not be visiting Ever Again! this experience has put me and my wife of Spanish Holidays FULL STOP..
