Great little hotel by the sea
Have stayed here many times and will keep coming back. Small Spanish hotel with great views to sea. Highly recommend booking a sea front room (not sea view). Restaurant is not great but fine for breakfast. Plenty of restaurants close by. Great beach over the road from the hotel. Bring a travel kettle with you. No fridge in room but that doesn't stop us coming back. Away from the new town and situated in the old town just by dove park overlooking peacock island.

Fantastic views!
This hotel would suit more mature people without children. It is located opposite the beach about 5 - 10 mins walk into the old town. We booked a sea view room and the views were amazing. The room itself was clean but very basic. We booked on a HB basis but wished we had only booked B & B as the food was quite limited choice and only ever warm at best. British people are of the minority in this hotel which didn't particularly bother us and the few staff members we did speak to were nice and helpful. If you want a quiet break then this hotel is ideal but if you are looking for entertainment and plenty to do I would say to look elsewhere in Benidorm. The beach was spotless and cleaned daily. There are a few bars and shops on route into the old town and the buses run regularly on the main road a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. All in all we had a very nice few days here and plan to go back but to try the Levante Beach end!

good hotel...nice location
This is my second time to stay at the Marconi and have found it as good as you will get in Benidorm. I stayed full board and found the food to be very good and the room was spotlessly clean although I did not have a balcony but the bed was very comfortable.Staff were friendly especially Maria at reception and I hope to return there again.

friendly little hotel but stick to bed and breakfast!
A lovely, clean and friendly hotel. I have never had a balcony so huge! Comfy beds, plenty of space and although only 8 Brits in over the new year, the Spanish visitors were always smiling and saying hello to us!!The one thing that let the hotel was the food. Breakfast was fine although the bacon was cold! Usual breakfast fayre and we enjoyed it but lunch and evening meal were not up to scratch in our opinion and although I would return for the position of the hotel and friendliness, I wouldn't want to spend a week eating the food on offer!We usually stay at the Mar Blau but unfortunately it has closed. This hotel is more spacious and equally well placed and a similar price.

Like a morgue in December
Its clean but not "comfortable" . People sit at tables in silence . The Food is passable but never labelled & no menus- and always cool. You rarely get a piece of real meat, more sausage meat, mince, or chicken legs/thighs/wings and fish. In 18 meals we got one Vienna Snitzel, and one roast lamb . Stingy with the lighting in the dining room. The wi-fi facility (downstairs) is quite good.
