Perfect
we spent two nights at the Four Seasons Nile on our wedding anniversary. The welcome, check in and check out were very smooth. The room overlooking the Nile had everything we need and it was perfect clean.all the hotel outlets are superb. and the staff are very helpful, friendly, but also extremely professionalI only wished they had placed the swimming pool in a different location, After 1 PM the pool and the surrounding area had no sun, in the shade of the Hotel.

Fantastic
We stayed at the Four Seasons as part of a trip arranged with Abercrombie and Kent and it was amazing. The service overall was fantastic but the welcome we received from the hotel staff was fantastic. 4 of us travelling all from a hospitality background and not one of us could find fault. Highly recommended! Gamal is lovely serving at the pool bar...always made sure our cocktails and wine were kept topped up!! x

Outstanding In Every Way
We spent three incredible nights at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza, and left wanting for nothing... Except to return!Our adjoining rooms on the 26th floor overlooking the Nile offered the perfect respite after a long flight from New York, and long days of touring all the great sites Cairo has to offer. The service was outstanding, and the entire staff welcoming and friendly. The rooms were large and spacious and appointed with everything you could want. The beds incredibly comfortable, and the shower extraordinary!The spa facilities were exceptional, and even without partaking in massages or treatments, you can enjoy the gym, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and relaxation lounge in the separate men's and women's facilities. (That's not to say the massages aren't worth the time, as the Lomi Lomi was incredible!) The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were fantastic and offered a great way to unwind when returning to the hotel each day.Dining at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza is a unique experience! The food is exceptional, and the service among the best. Breakfast each morning at the buffet offered a wide variety of traditional Egyptian dishes along with endless international fare. Dinner at "8" - the hotel's newest restaurant showcasing Asian cuisine - was delicious! Yielding to the chef's recommendations, one dish after another continued to amaze, and the Peking Duck rivaled some of the best of Beijing.The city is alive and bustling, and an incredible experience. For this first time visitor to Egypt, the Four Seasons Nile Plaza offered a sanctuary of peace and comfort as we started this amazing journey. The city itself was warm and welcoming with never a concern for safety. Nestled along the banks of the Nile, we always felt safe and at home.

An oasis of peace on the Nile in downtown
The hotel has the usual very high level of service, starting from airport pickup through knowing your name and personal requirements seemingly within hours. The rooms are large; I had one of the smaller ones without a balcony on a lower floor overlooking the pool with the Citadel in the distance, and this was probably one of the worst views in the hotel. I only ate at the Italian restaurant, had a shrimp appetizer and lambchops with a nice Egyptian red wine, outstanding. The bar and this restaurant both overlook the Nile, wonderful to watch boats go by.In this day and age, its important to note that the hotel has a barricade, guards and a magnetometer. In my experience, this is a good thing in certain parts of the world, encouraging people with bad intentions to find an easier target.We had a guide who I believe can be engaged through the hotel, Yasmin Amin. She speaks excellent English, is quite knowledgable about the sites, is great about discussing modern Cairo and its people. She also is adept at fending off the worst of the camel/papyrus/tissue/etc salesmen; you will be grateful for that.I will likely stay here again on my next visit.
