Great location
Great location just beside Kurfurstendamm. The hotel is like a very big apartment. Can be very noisy thou to the young public. This room was in need of a big clean up, kind of dirty carpet etc.The breakfast was allright och so was the price. Recommended for perople on a tight budget and don¿¿t want to stay in a youthhostel.

Fabulous location.

It is a three star hotel
In an old building close to Kurf¿¿rstendam you will find this hotel on the first floor. With a wooden squeaking stair the first impression is not the best. Don't be afraid, remember that this is not luxury, but a place to sleep. I had a single room that could have been a bit bigger. They had managed to put in a single bed, a desk and a chair for the desk. There was also a place to hang your jacket and trousers and a wardrobe. The TV was aprox 19", but bid enough to be seen from the bed. I could find a lot of German broadcasters, but allso foreign ones like BBC World. Bathroom contained a wach basin, toilet and a shower. The shower basin was a bit high and not to be used if you have problems with high steps. The amenities was soap. With carpet in the room and tiles in the bathroom I found that the cleaning was OK even thoug it is hard to see the result of cleaning of the carpet.My room faced the back yard and this made it possible to sleep with an open window. It seems that the most of the rooms are facing this direction. I slept well for three nights, but the room was not inviting me to stay inside.When I was asking for help from the people working there I got all the help wanted and with a smile.I would consider staying there again as a cheap alternative, but would probably pay a bit more for a four star hotel the next time.

Good location
This is and old apartment block where some of the floors are turned into a hotel. The reception is on first floor, and getting three people and suitcases in the tine period elevator (anno 1904) was a challenge. However, rooms were modernised, and beds and bathrooms very good. Our room was 41, facing the sun from noon until sundown. This was July and 30 degrees. There is no aircon or fans, so the room was unbearable hot. We managed to borrow a small fan in the reception, but still this was very hot.Breakfast was minimal - standard German, but absolutely minimal.The best with the hotel was the location - very close to both Kurfurstendamm and Savigny S-Bahn station making it very easy to get around and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood.

Location OK , But
old house,very noisy floor,AVOID room 12 ( its is behind reception&kitchen and it is very noisy ) that room is not ok for living.We had another room ( Room 14 , that was much more ok )Otherwise; location and price were ok,breakfast is simple and OK,free wifi is fast,pls ask to see your room first when you check in
