visiting dad
had the chance to go to Dubai on the way to nepal. stayed at the Concorde. the initial two nights, we stayed in a suite. very nice. they are like residences. a 4 bedroom three bath suite. was nice. again, nothing incredible but nice. we were fairly independent at that occasion. on the last night we switched to a regular room and had a more average stay. overall, the staff was nice. the location is good. slightly out of the way but ok. the amenities were average. the club was on the roof along with the pool. compared to the newer properties in dubai, its definitely dated. its an ok place to stay but no wow here.

an average choice, nothing to rave about
In the heart of Dubai, very close the Airport. Rooms are clean , staff is friendly. Some of the rooms on upper floors offer limited view of Dubai creek. Not close to a metro station, taxi or hotel shuttle ( not very frequent) are the mode of transportation available. Internet is chargeable and the process of buying the credit and getting connected is painful. This an old style hotel, so lot of basic amenities for today's lifestyle are missing. For example in the room where i have stayed, the only electric socket was in the toilet.

Closer to airport
We stayed for 3 nights in Emirates Concorde,Dubai.... room, was big with nice interior decoration...but very old carpet with lots of stain...during 1st night of our stay room was stinking so badly,.i had to spray half bottle of my expensive perfume,so that i can sleep...mini bar was loaded with juices,soft drinks and mineral water ,with a price list on top of the bar cabinet,which was really costly...bathroom was clean but very small,and very hot water ,even cold tap's water was uncomfortabely hot....As we booked a de-luxe room ,i was expecting free Wi-Fi,which was not.... even,1st day of our stay,there was no drinking water in the room ,2nd day they provide a 500ml bottle of water and 3rd day 2 bottles of 500 ml water ,which i found very funny....for internet connection, first had to contect reception,they will provide a extn.no ..and from that no you'll get a password to use internet .....but what i found really irritating,while i was using internet I want to extend my time and i had to loag in again with another pass word ,can't continue with the existing pass word.......breakfast was ok ok...every day they provides different variety,it's good. every day don't have to eat same breaksast...room service was good ...i liked their beriyani... location is good...closer to airport,Deira city centre.

I don't recommend this h¿¿tel
I'm so shocked that ice cubes is 10 dirhams when you need to get it in your rooms. I've never seen this before. The Room service is not pleasant. I was shocked also that you have to deposit 300 dirhams for mini bar, if not they keep your passports until your departure. So if you go outside at Night, you need your passport!!!! It's non senseThe wifi is not easy to use and not free all the Time. Compare of the price you pay, you can find larger good h¿¿tel than this one on this price. The bed is strong not vert comfortable. Sauna and gymnasium were fine.Think twice to go there

Very aged room
We were dumped here by Emirates and although I didnt expect much we were put in a 2 bedroom suite with old carpet, blood on one of the bathroom walls(fortunatly another one) no tea/coffee facilities ,bottled water or hairdryer.The reception staff were good to say so many of us arrived at the same time.I was so tired I couldnt be bothered to complian but be warned!!
