Awesome Family Stay
Outstanding customer service! Many times as we were wandering around a staff member would come up and see if we needed anything. Peggy saw that we were a bit bored with a six year old and she had the bar tender (who doubles as a magician) come out and do a few magic tricks to entertain right in the lobby. Restaurant staff provided a high chair for a stuffed animal and made sure the WHOLE family was all set - treating a child as an important guest. Front desk staff was incredible - went above and beyond when I didn't ask. As a Hilton Gold Member, I am picky and have come to expect a certain level of service from Hilton properties - and this hotel did not disappoint.Only complaint was that the room was not entirely clean the first night. We had to call and have the fridge cleaned because it was pretty dirty - but they brought us a new fridge.Other than the cleanliness of the room, the stay was amazing. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this isn't your place - but if you want a fun filled, family vacation you won't beat it.

Great location, don't go when they are hosting an event
CoCo Key is on-site and the hotel pool is amazing! The fitness area is good sized with new equipment and the spa looked nice although I did not visit. DoubleTree's are usually great to stay at, but this one had 12 busses of high school students staying there so it was not the most pleasant experience and the usual quality you would expect at a DoubleTree was not found. Service at the restaurants was chaotic and unorganized. Our safe was broken, we called maintence but they never showed over our 3 day stay to fix it. All in all it's a fantastic location due to the ammenties on-site, but their service was lacking due to being underprepared for the amount of people staying there when we were.

Great hotel w/ some flaws
Excellent reception upon arrival. The front desk staff very courteous and helpful. Had dinner at the bar, but the beer taps were out of order. The bartender was very apologetic and pleasant about it, however and they did comp a bottled beer. I got to my room and it seemed cool but didn't think much about it as I had work to do. Turned the heat up before turning in...and nothing but cool air. I didn't complain, but woke up with a scratchy throat. The room itself was well appointed and thankfully the shower nice and hot. At breakfast I was seated, given orange juice and coffee...but never received the cream I requested. Not a a big deal but it seemed because I had a breakfast coupon the waitress didn't need to pay any attention to me. Overall it wasn't a great experience, but I know not the norm.

Horrible Stay
There were stains on the bathroom floor and were crumbs on the chairs and room floor from the previous guests. Housekeeping did not properly clean the room and bathroom. In addition, the Front desk took a long time to answer the phone.
