Great value and excellent location.
We booked a one night stay after getting the train from Edinburgh. Right next to central station so location was great. Rooms on the small side but very clean. Nice and quiet but fear it may get busy on weekenda due to the central location. Friendly efficient staff.

Good location but thin walls.
Was worried when I first walked in. It was around 7pm and noisy with the bar being busy but I shouldn't have worried, I couldn't hear anything in my room.I had a room for one, a double bed, clean white cotton bed linen with huge white bath sheets. Big plus. Flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities and a proper hair dryer another plus.On the downside, the mirror in the ensuite. I am 5 foot 8. Standing in front of the mirror in bare feet, I could see the reflection of around my collar bone to my belly button. I had to stoop to see my face. A shame because they had obviously spent a lot of money with the etching on the mirror! The shower, very powerful, lovely except the original riser is missing so it sits in a a riser not suitable for the shower head meaning it can't be adjusted to kind of sprays in an arc hitting the other side of the shower screen, missing you if you are standing underneath it. To shower you have to remove it from the attachment making it a bit of a pain showering.The room is nicely decorated, although there are marks on the wall so it could do with a freshen up.The first night I slept like a log, the second night wasn't so good. Next door decided to party from around 4am till I checked out at 8.30am. Several of the group were obviously staying in the hotel because they kept coming back and forth, knocking, shouting. I was spared the uncomfortable noises but I have to ask myself, what do I need to do to get a decent night sleep in Glasgow. Just a room with thicker walls.

It's not what they think it is, but given the location, it works for the price
If this hotel was another 200m from the station it would be nothing... however, it isn't.I can see the station entrance across the road from my window, and that's what attracted me as a visitor arriving on the excellent Virgin Euston-Glasgow service.My arrival was a comedy sketch... it took three attempts to give me a key to the right room... the second attempt involved opening the door on people in bed... nice work guys.The room... Travelodge... nothing more, but clean-ish and moderately comfortable. Ever expense has been spared, every fitting is cheap... even the biscuits are micro sized. The shower head swung round and soaked everything when the water was turned on... nice.Wifi - Does not work...The breakfast... the worst greasy cooked breakfast of inedible fat-stick sausages with stale croissants I've experienced... but served by a sweet old "Flora MacDonald" character.... in an Indian restaurant... so smelt of curry... I'd go to Greggs out of choice. Would I stay here again...? Possibly... ¿¿75 (inc breakfast) is value for central Glasgow, and the bar doesn't attract the Glasgow drunk community, but for slightly more the CitizenM is a million times better.

Good location and good staff
Pros:Location - right beside central station and a 2 minute walk to and from the airport bus stop (Waterloo Street going to the airport and Bothwell street when arriving).Staff - all brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. Jean serving the breakfast at the weekend a particular highlightPrice - reasonableRoom: Clean, nicely furnished, decent sized bathroomConsLocation: Could be a bit noisy, request a room at the back of the hotel and as high a floor as possibleRoom: Window wasn't in great condition, hard to closeAtmosphere: We arrived at 10.30pm on a Friday night not realising that the Check in desk was basically in a pub. Wasn't comfortable checking in during blaring music and drunks (although the staff member was great). Also, Breakfast is served in the Indian restaraunt connected to the hotel. Not a big deal but not really all that pleasant either.Overall I would recommend it for 2-3 nights. Particularly if you are travelling with friends, on your own, or on business trip.

Good clean accommodation with excellent en-suite with a bath!! Staff were very friendly and efficient, especially Jamie who was like a breath of fresh air.We booked 3 nights bed breakfast and would definitely use this hotel again when in Glasgow.Bar meals are good value and fish was really fresh and succulent.
