Basic, nice staff, great value
Spent a night at this hotel, which I had chosen because of its proximity to Politecnico (walking distance). Room was basic, a little tired in decor, but clean and comfortable. Staff's been nice, both at reception and breakfast. Which was up to par with Italian standards, and possibly a bit better in terms of selection. Room was heated more than adequately, bed were comfortable. It's clearly not a 5 star resort, where you expect staff to always be after you, awaiting for their 20¿¿¿ bill. Still, I had no problems obtaining whatever I asked for. At the room rate i've paied I really couldn't have expected more, and it actually exceeded my expectations. Recommended!

Very good to stay here
Very pleased about the stuff and service. After our check in they immediately provide a crib for my baby. It was really helpful that a small kitchenette also in the room. The stuff speak fluent English is very essential for tourist. We stay for a week and had a great experience. The bus station are very near, and specially anybody who have to work in "Politecnico di Torino", the hotel is great place for them.

Basic
Stayed here January 2013 as a base to see some of the city and watch a Juve game. Check in was quick and receptionist polite and spoke good English.Room was small, very little wardrobe space, mainly down to the cooker and large, noisy fridge in the room. Struck me as bizarre that a city hotel would provide a cooker. Bathroom was functional and fairly modern except that the plug didn't work. Bed very firm but had a couple of decent nights sleep on it, this could have been due to how tired I was from the trip however!Breakfast was the usual continental fare of cold cuts, cheese, bread, pastries and juices and was fine. Also nice that you could still get something having missed breakfast closing at 10.The location for me really lets the hotel down. A long walk into the centre and in a not very pleasant area, although the number 33 bus does let you get into town fairly quickly.Wouldn't use the hotel again purely because of area but other than that it is ok.

Great Hotel in Turin
Pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. great location too as trams and buses stops exactly in front of the hotel. Just about 10 minutes from the centre and to the train stations. A very good value for money and we highly recomend this to anyone travelling to turin.

Don't stay here. You risk suffocation.
I checked in on 14/10/2012. The room condition is that of a dormitory. Check in desk simply handed over keys. No help with luggage or anything else. The room HVAC was not functional neither was the toilet exhaust though the booking site clearly mentioned "Air Conditioning". On enquiring I was told this facility is only available during may to September. I insisted I only wanted ventilation and heating or cooling. But the person manning the front desk insisted and was adamant. I requested for a table fan - they didn't have one. On further insistence I was told to keep the balcony door open. Now the balcony is not private. It is like common terrace. How is one supposed to sleep with the risk of leaving doors open besides letting in traffic and aircraft noise is anybody's guess. The room has very little lighting and that too inconveniently placed. Right across is a huge office complex any keeping curtains open means sacrificing all privacy. The staff is curt and rude. They pull out various laws of Italy stating that heating ( I was specifically requesting ventilation) is not mandatory during may to September in this class of hotels even though we are now in the middle of October. As a solution he tells me to check out when I went with complaints of feeling suffocated at 11:00 PM. HE EVEN WENT TO THE EXTENT OF HANDING OVER MY CHECKOUT BILL a couple if hours after check in even though I had paid full for the room for three nights. He belittled me by saying it was not his fault if I was visiting for the first time. Since I'm traveling with my family, I have no choice but to suffer in silence. So much for checking ratings and reviews.
