Awesome place to stay and rent the hall !
We the rented this hotel for a retreat and it was awesome every employee in this hotel were very attentive, helpful, courteous , I've never been to a hotel where every person this nice! I want to thank Uly , Martin, Courtney and every employee that supported the Casa de Paz Chicago . The rooms were clean also.

Stayed her several times
Great value. Very clean. Bar has great food and Louis is great, ask him to show you a puzzle. Happy hour specials are great! I will always stay here when I come to Chicago for business as the location is perfect and not far at all from the Airport.

Awesome place to stay
Clean rooms, attentive and courteous staff is all that needs to be said. This is my second time to stay here and I am again impressed. Thank you for everything and going above and beyond as well. We stayed for a weekend with our toddler in tow. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained with plenty of towels available. Breakfast buffet was stocked with lots of options and service staff were very attentive. We will stay here again.

Recently renovated, comfortable stay
I live in the area and am very familiar with the geography of the location. I had not been inside the hotel since the recent renovations; however friends who had stayed her during the end of the construction had commented to me that the interior was quite nice.My reason for visiting was to attend an annual event which was hosted at the Holiday Inn for the first time. We also stayed the night in one of the guest rooms. For our event, the banquet room was adequate - fairly typical for a hotel space. The food was pretty good overall and the catering staff were efficient and professional. My only complaint in regards to our event would be that drink lines tended to be quite long; however this could be the fault of the event planner and not necessarily the hotel. The lobby and common areas are very nice - modern and spacious - including the large bar/restaurant. We had a drink in the bar; the bartender was friendly and bowls of pub mix were provided for snacking.The guest rooms are clean and modern. The bed had lots of pillows as was quite comfortable. The bathroom was standard - tub/shower, sink, hair dryer. The granite countertop on the vanity was nice. We did notice that many small details seemed to be missed during the renovation - the bathroom door was a clunky old thing and it's hinges were old and paint-dripped. Also, for some reason the toilet was incredibly loud when flushed (sounding similar to an airplane toilet) which was a little odd. We had a room on the second floor that overlooked the indoor pool. If you interested in sleeping late, this is a good room choice since your window does not face the outside nor are you facing the highway. Overall, for our purposes it was a comfortable night and an enjoyable party. I would recommend returning for our event next year.

Good stay
We stayed here for 5 nights for the Ryder Cup in September due to it being close to the course. Our room was spacious and clean - the bed was huge and very comfortable. We were unable to secure our valuables as there was no safe in the room and the safe-keeping facility offered by the hotel was full. The shuttle to the Ryder Cup was great - very well organised. The local shuttle to Woodfield Mall was not so great and we had to wait 40 mins past the collection time to be picked up. The breakfast was great - lots of choice and offered real value for money. Evening meal was hit and miss - the pizza I had one night was awful but the burgers were fine.
