Worse place I ever stayed.
I travel a lot; I have gone to many hotels in my years. However this has to be the worst hotel I have ever booked through hotels.com. The rooms are dirty and cold; the front desk clerk does not speak English, and is behind bullet proof glass. The rugs where dirty, the tables all had cigarette burns in them. Drug deals and prostitution all night long. I would rather sleep in my truck then on those old dirty beds¿¿¿

You gets what you pays for!
I chose this hotel as it was still close enough to Boston to make a commute feasible. It was also A LOT cheaper than staying in Boston itself. The room was spacious and presentable, as was the en-suite. Cleanliness was not superb, but it was my fault for dropping crumbs on the floor! The beds are made up and bins emptied each day. There is an Asian food supermarket and a couple of 7/11s on the way north along Hancock Street for essentials, but I ate out most times so can only comment on the 7/11s which were as you would expect for convenience stores. It is 5 mins from the Wollaston T (Subway, Metro, Train or whatever you call it) stop on the red line and 15 mins into town ($15 for a 7 day ticket and $5 all day parking at the T station and it is well used). There is some construction going on at the moment (Oct 2012), so again noise during the day.It is situated right next to the Hancock St / 3A junction, which is a great scenic exit from the area and eventually connects back onto the 3. There is a lot to look at just following the coastal roads, even if it is just the expensive houses!Close by (within a couple of miles) there are quite a few restaurants ranging from fast food to sports bars and I can recommend Burkes Seafood in North Quincy for the fish and chips as well as the clam chowder.Traffic before 9AM and between 3-6PM is quite heavy and the turn into the hotel when coming from the South is not really possible in the afternoon rush hour, either turn around at the next turning or come from the North, with the traffic. The turning is "hidden" at night, just look for the car wash sign for the turn marker!

Good for the price
Stayed there on a trip around BostonThe rooms were large, rather cleanThere was a small smell of smoke in the roomIt's well located on the main street and less than one mile from the beach. If you like to run, it's a nice place to stayWell I would recommend staying there if you are looking for a place that is not overpriced, correct and near Boston

Not Bad
I booked this hotel online because I was in town to see the Boston Red sox. Pulled in and was a little nervous, but I'm pretty easy going and just needed a place to sleep.I booked a smoking room, even though neither myself or boyfriend smoke, because it was way cheaper. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. No noise or anything like that either. There was a faint smell of smoke when we first walked in (it was a smoking room) but after a minute I never noticed and none of my stuff smelt after we left either so it wasn't bad.

Excellent Value and Location
This really is excellent value for what it is, it may not be a meticulously clean place but it's very decent. Room had TV, microwave and fridge, two double beds and a fair sized bathroom. It's five minutes walk from the Wolaston T line (train) to Boston that takes 15 minutes, it's only 15 dollars for 7 day ticket to get on and off train and bus where you want. Nearby in Wolaston is a Chinese supermarket, 7/11, Dunkin Dounuts, CVS Pharmacy amongst other things and some restaurants. A really good stay, although can be noisy as it is very busy.
