Great location
Stayed there with kids. The hotel was very clean. Doesn't cater to kids, but it was perfect for a short trip. It was walking distance from the T and close to restaurants. We ordered food service for breakfast and it got the kids going. The personnel was courteous and professional. Overall clean hotel and courteous staff. Maybe I would have liked a lower price but other than that very pleased.

Excellent Service
I was there for a conference. The meeting room was nice. The food was delicious, fresh and well-attended to. My room was lovely and clean. The restaurant is nice with a great bar. This was my first stay at a Starwood property - I usually use Hilton - but I would recommend this brand and this particular hotel. I will definitely consider it the next time I'm in Cambridge/Boston.

Excellent location, for MIT-related tasks
Nicely located "in front" of the MIT zone, this nicely setup hotel is very quiet and allows to recover well also from transatlantic flights and jet lag. The personnel is very smooth operating, and one gets them only when needed, else one is left in very much quiet and peace. Really nice. The caffe is also of great quality as well as various pasteries etc. The pub had only one non alcoholic beer (and not draft) however the atmosphere is really relaxing and one feel also very safe.Unfortunately the Gym is not very much equipped, for an Hotel of this category, and there is no swimming pool. However Boston offers many such services and therefore one does not necessarily need to have them within the Hotel ...Checkin was very fast and professional. Taxi drive from airport was 40 US$ during non peak hours.The internal garden is small but nevertheless very nice and relaxing.

Convenient, modern, clean
When I wasn't living in the Boston area, I stayed at this hotel on business. One of my favorite things about it is that it is an environmentally friendly hotel. I am a wedding photographer and after staying here while in town shooting, and now recommend this hotel to many of my Boston area brides for room blocks for their families coming in for their weddings because of how clean and convenient the hotel is. In addition to staying at this hotel, I've also photographed many weddings here and it is the only location in the Boston area that has the rooftop garden for ceremonies and cocktail hour.

Efficient, Great Service, Exactly What You'd Expect
I travel like none other. I practically live in Starwood hotels. Some places get it right. Some miss. Most places fall somewhere in the middle. This hotel was spot-on. Check in was great. I was in line, they noticed I was waiting, and they promptly opened another desk to check me in. I was greeted well, my platinum status was recognized, and an upgrade was given. The hotel is in a great location close to public transportation, near some great restaurants (Craigie on Main!) and attached to a grocery store (huge plus). The room was amazing. Very clean, well stocked, extremely comfortable. This was a great stay and definitely a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting the boston/cambridge area.
