Nice hotel
Second time staying at kings hotel.Reasonably priced and our room included breakfast. Was right at the back of the hotel and our room looked out onto a side street at street level,luckily it wasn't a busy one.Beds comfy bathroom ok room nice size.Breakfast was very nice not a help yourself buffet but off of a menu which I preferred.Wasn't as good as our previous visit but still very nice none the less would stay again.

Fantastic stay
I stayed at The Kings Hotel Brighton from 16-18 May 2013 in a Superior Twin Room. It was spacious, and 2 very important factors......comfortable bed and powerful shower! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the Receptionist Daniel. Breakfast was really good, and nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. The room was clean and we were given clean towels and coffee refills on our second day. I would recommend the Kings Hotel as a 3 star hotel that is friendly and comfortable.

Clean but falling apart
Good location, 10 minutes to the pier and on the seafront. The room was clean. However when I used the shower, the shower head fell off and hit me, if I'd have been reaching down for my shampoo, it would've knocked me out. Also we were woken at 4am for a fire alarm (we were told a guest was smoking in their room) at 8am with a wake up call (we did not request a wake up call at anytime let alone 8am after a night out) then room service knocked and entered without response from us at 9:30am. We only booked one night and checkout was 11am so I have no idea why they thought the room would be empty. Finally the radiators upstairs don't turn off so it was really hot and we had to have our windows open to the noisy seafront all night. The hotel did part refund our room due to the shower problem, but a full refund should have been offered.

Great location and rooms
After speaking to numerous hotels which didn't take hen parties or two night stays over a bank holiday weekend we booked the Kings Hotel. The staff are really friendly, helpful and flexible. The rooms are great, good size, fair price and clean. The location is great too, whilst it's not directly near the pier, it's near to shops, bars and right next to the beach and is only a short walk down to the pier and from the station. One small improvement might be that the windows need blinds or better curtains as the sun shone in very bright early in the morning into some rooms our group were staying in.

Good value for money
After a couple of bad experiences in London i wasn¿¿t expecting much from any hotel in England, However all that changed once I checked in here! The room was clean, quiet and the bed was soft. I was positively surprised by the fact that the hotel is only a mere 8-minute walk from the centre of Brighton. The city busses run 24/7 with stops only minutes away in any direction from the hotel. The breakfast was good to.
