Disappointing
The only thing it has going for it is the location. For the price expected at least a little bit more class. The rooms are tired looking. The towels in the bathroom were horrible, I have better towels in my rag drawer. The coffee pot had leftover grounds and paper cups only. Had a room with a balcony, don't waste your money. The balcony was dirty and looks at the parking lot. Had dinner in the dining room. Over priced and mediocre food. The service was sloooow even though only about 5 tables were seated. Hate to see what happens when they are busy. Love the Grand Canyon, but pass on this place, unless they make improvements. There are better places available for the money.

A good place to stay !
The hotel is in a very good shape, located close to the entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. Rooms and bathroom are spacy und tasteful decorated, service very good and fficient. The athmosphere of the whole place is very comfortable.

Great location
Pet friendly a plus. Great location- minutes from the south entrance of the grand canyon. Clean, comforable room. Restaurant on site good. Quiet rooms. Very spacious. Walking distance to the IMAX theatre- a must see. Staff very friendly. Need to move the vending machine away from the hot room next to the pool- all the chocolate is melted.

Not Grand at all.....
This hotel is very basic, looks good from the outsite but internally not grand at all. My husband myself with our 12 and 9 year old stayed in the room with 2 queen beds room was very small had a coffee pod machine with paper cups (yuk) no facilities to make a cup of tea... we had bought an electric jug earlier on in the trip and I made a cup of tea but had a terrible smell like fish from the paper cups had to go and buy some mugs from the overpriced gift shop... and there was no fridge. When we checked in there were only 3 towels and the reservation clearly said 4 people, when the room was made up the following day still only 3 towels so had to go to reception numerous times. There was WiFi but we were unable to get on the 3 days we were there apparently doesn't work well when the hotel is fully booked. We were very dissapointed for the amount of money we paid for the room you are definately paying for the location. They were clearly understaffed. We wont stay here again.

Good Location
The hotel is very clean, but rooms, food, drinks and store are pricey. Stock up on food at grocery before you get there. Tusayan is a small town with a strip of hotels, restaurants, and other stores for trinkets, etc.....all over priced. That's what you get for staying just 10 minutes from the fantastic views that the Grand Canyon offers. Essentially no concierge service so make your own plans after doing your search on the internet...you will be much better off. Overall the place was clean and is very close to the canyon. I would recommend this place. I am convinced that you will not find better value at other places in the area due to the location.
