Overall not a bad stay, the staff made the weekend
After reading the reviews about this hotel I was not looking forward to the stay, and yes I agree its a older hotel from the 80's that needs a big refurbisment and yes it has a kind of hospital feeling about it but I have stayed in a lot worse and paid a lot more. The 4 Stars of course is because of the services that are offered and not for the decor , but the rooms are big and well equipped. If anything a shortage of plugs in the room so not really catering for the business traveler. But the staff were excellent from the pleasant check in, to the waitress in the bar who made the salad exactly as I wanted when the restaurant was closed. The dinner we had in the function room for the event was excellent and we were served on in a very professional way which for large functions is hard to do.So the hotel is close to the airport and that's the only positive thing about the location but overall I was happy with my stay.

refurbishment needed
The hotel has the facilities since the 80's, for the service you get, it is too expensive. It is located at a heavy used road but no restaurants close-by. Better you choose a hotel in downtown or joiahotel. You need for both hotels a car to get there and away.

Not a 4 stars by any means!!!
Badly in need of refurbishment. We spent one night in the hotel over the Christmas holidays and the hotel was deserted. Looked like as if the place was about to close down. We had a very pleasant stay at the Una Hotel in Bologna the year before and we were expecting the same standards but unfortunately no comparisons between the two hotels. Restaurant was closed. The internet connection was very slow and patchy I spent the hour I paid for just trying to reconnect. On the plus side, we found the staff friendly and helpful .Room was big (outdated but big) , fairly clean. Breakfast was very good. Will not go there again.

Don't go there
We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the airport but we should have gone to the town centre instead and paid a bit more. There is no shuttle bus and you will pay a minimum of ¿¿¿20 per taxi ride to/from the airport or town centre. The hotel has no charm, is out dated and in a commercial , residential area at the outskirts of Bergamo with no restaurants or bars in walking distance. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good but there is no other reason to stay in this concrete jungle.

Open that door to jump back to 80ies!!!!
That Hotel should be elected as national monument, when 80ies will have some historical interest.the hotel is untouched, you can find the same furnitures and paintings and rooms that must be now 30 years old.in any case, I have to say the hotel is not dirty, even if (maybe) the 4 stars have been taken in 1982.televisions are also from 1980. I have taken a superior: plenty of space, but not very special features included.a little un-friendly was the breakfast room. Good variety of food in the morning, but opens and 7 AM and it is door is locked by an heavy chain wounded on the handles!!! No jokes.Restaurant in the evening is good. Personnel is kind and qualified.I would say, this is fine, but not 4 stars.nothing around it to eat decently. Bad location except for work.
