Good place to stay in Paris
This hotel is a good place to stay overall as it is close to the Metro, cafes and the like and comfortable. The staff is mostly friendly and all speak English. We were there for six days and it seemed as though the front desk staff changed twice a day and we never saw the same person twice. Some were helpful and some not so much. The breakfast is good and the dining area quite nice but not included in the room rate and a bit pricey. The room was smallish but well appointed and I did not feel cramped. However, the shower was so tiny that you had to enter it sideways.

Paris on a budget
Quite little hotel.. staff were nice and helpful.. our room was tiny but that is Paris on budget :) room was clean and they had the smallest shower ever... but it was in good working condition... no problem with hot shower... the location was for me great because there is a bakery next door ... halal food restaurant nearby and also several convenient stores open till late at night. Also it was really near to the Main Train station and Metro station about 2 or 3 stops by bus. And the bus stop is right in front of the Hotel. Good bargain for travelers on a budget.

Better than I was expecting, good budget hotel
I had an early morning train and decided to find a budget hotel in a convenient location, this hotel was what I settled upon. The hotel staff were friendly, not sure of how well they spoke English as I used French. I stayed in an annexe just across from the main building which had a tiny staircase and no lift, it was quite difficult to get my hand luggage sized suitcase up the stairs so if you need ease of access, maybe ask for a room in the main building. Once I reached my room, it was clean, had a view of the inner courtyard and an okay temperature. However later in the evening I realised how thin the walls were, again, might not be a problem in the main building. All in all, it was better than I was expecting for a very budget hotel in Paris with it¿¿¿s own bathroom.

good location... and that's it
we stayed in that place with my gf for 3 nights in august 2012. the place has great location just behind the corner from the metro that takes you to city centre in no time. except for the location, i had mixed mediocre feelings about it. they probably overbooked the hotel (good for us) and instead of standard double we've got comfort. I don't want to imagine what have standard looked like, if the comfort was approx 2x2 meters including bathroom. and that's the point! sliding door don't fit to an opening, and could not be closed without having about 5cm of space to see thru to the toilet. I don't want imagine myself having diarrhoea overnight as the bathroom was just 20cm from the bed. I have heard rooms in FR are generally small but this was over the top. also information about internet is misleading as you only have 2 (3?) hours and the connection was slow. I would't stay in that place visiting Paris again. apart from that, staff were ok, as the location was and there was a plenty of fun near canal in the night.

decent,except no hot water during one of day of my stay.
was there in January.not a bad hotel,near metro,as in just maybe less than 2 minutes walk.supposed to stay there for 3 days, but on my 2nd night there was problem with the hot water for the whole hotelbut the reception was kind and fast enough to get us a new room near gare de east(which was a nicer room)McD is just opposite,and there were plenty of chinese food shop around if you wish to take if on tight budget..
