Worshop and Conference dinner the Palace Hotel
The hotel is in excellent location, close to train, S-Bahn and U-Bahn (metro) stations, which allow easy direct travel to close cities, or to the Berlin airport. The lobby and reception functions perfectly. Gym and pool are well kept. The room was big enough, clean and quiet. We had a diner served as buffet. Unfortunately, from not really clear reason, the warm dishes were not warm enough and the taste was rather plain - this was not just my experience and feeling. Surprising and not expected in otherwise nice hotel. I do not know, how many stars the hotel has, but generally, I would say fair 4 star.

Everything but a 5 star hotel!
This was the worst 5-star hotel in which I have stayed in my life. The rooms do not correspond at all to a 5 star hotel: they are old, ugly, not properly cleaned, no sound proof and the air conditioning does not work. When I complained at reception, the staff was not friendly and they did not give us another room. Breakfast is average. Location is good, but not the best one. Really disappointed with this hotel, as I have chosen a 5 star hotel and was expecting a 5 star quality, but did not receive it.

Amazing hotel to relax and unwind
stayed for 1 night in hotel palace and it was really great. Staff were so polite and attentive. We got an automatic upgrade on our room when we arrived and the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was a really good size. The spa was amazing, heated floors, gorgeous pool, sauna with towels and robes when you arrive. the location was great 5 min walk from U and S bahn and there is a direct train to the airport from this stop. The breakfast offered every food you could think of and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic break.

Making a very good hotel even better
Over the years, I have stayed several times at this well located hotel in the Western part of the city. Some of its features such as the buffet breakfast, the service, and the cleanliness are still excellent. But it doesn't happen often enough that a proven hotel embarks on a refurbishing program necessitating quite an investment - this is exactly what the Palace has been doing for the last 18 months or so, and it is definitely showcased in the design and furnishings of the refurbished rooms and bathrooms. By now a majority of the rooms should have undergone this process, but I am not certain about it.In any case, a very good hotel has become even better. And best of all, because of the fierce competition in the Berlin (and Germany) hospitality sector, prices are more than reasonable. If you prefer to stay in the Western rather than the Eastern city, which I definitely do, you can't do much better than this hotel at its current rates.

Nice rooms, Good service, Great breakfast
Hotel Palace in Berlin is a great place (palace) to stay. It's situated 250 meters from Kurfurstendamm and KaDeWe and opposite of the Berlin Zoo.Our room, the Lotus Suite, was beautiful. Service of the employees are Great.Breakfast was superb.My only comment is about the water temperature of the nice swimmingpool. Please increase with 5 degrees.Th¿¿ hotel for a short break. Buy yourself a Berlin Welcome Card or public transport day ticket and off you GO!
