The best Hilton hotel in Egypt
Ramsese Hilton has a wonderful location in Down town Cairo and has a spectacular view as it is overlooking the river Nile . The whole staff is dedicated for making the stay for any guest as enjoyable as possible , all the staff are very friendly whether in the front desk or the Food and Beverages even the reservation staff if you need to cancel or postpone an existing reservation. You would not find the quality of food served any where else in other Hilton Hotels whether the breakfast , lunch or dinner. I can tell that this is the best hotel you can spend your vacation in, not only in hilton hotels chain but better than all other chainsHesham SingerDiamond Hhonors

A Wonderful Day
stayed at Ramses Hilton last Monday and it was a very good day at pool with very good brunch thx Ramses Hilton .. i enjoyed and thx a lot you have a very good staff .. the food is so delicious . and my thanks to Mr. Mostafa Khalaf the Front Office Manager .

One of the best Hiltons
I decided to stay again for its excellent service. Staff was very courteous and Essraa escorted me all the way to my room. Hotel itself is a bit old but room is large & clean. The birthday cake was really a surprise since I received nothing on previous day at a SPG hotel in Cairo. I will definitely come back if I visit Cairo again.

More than I have expected!
To be honest, I did not choose or book my stay at Ramses Hilton on my own. Rather, it was through my Trafalgar tour that I got to stay there. Prior to going to Egypt, I borrowed a couple of travellers' guide and check on commentaries of this hotel. One book (shoestring budget type) did not make any mention of Ramses Hilton while the other just sort of "write it off" as one of the hotels frequented by tour groups. So I didn't have much expectations to start off with actually.Passing by Ramses Hilton on the first day of my tour (while going to the Egyptian Museum), the brown facade didn't quite impressed me. However, on the return from Aswan to Cairo (on the seventh day of my tour), I was really gleeful when my Trafalgar representative informed us that we had been specially given rooms on the 25th storey, which overlooked the city of Cairo.On the way up to my room, I realised that we were on the executive floor (cool!), which had never ever happened when I joined other tour groups! Entering the room, I was well satisfied with the interior, which was extremely spacious and comfortable. The view of Cairo city from the balcony was great but one couldn't stay on the balcony too long, simply because the car horns were being sounded nearly every other second... Interestingly, once one retreated back into the safe haven of the room, closed the glass window and pulled the curtains, all traffic sounds were miraculously muted and one could enjoy the cool quiet of the room.Later, when I met one of my tour group member, she raved about the brand of the toiletries, which, according to her, was good and "high end". Definitely not a brand she would ever expected at Ramses Hilton. She was really impressed with her room and thought the photos on the Internet did not do justice to the actual rooms.Being on a tour group, one did not get to enjoy the hotel room as much due to the list of tour itinerary still to be completed. However, on the third and last day of my stay (prior checkout and departure to the airport), I came to realise that Ramses Hilton was indeed a hotel that "more than meet the eye". First, the breakfast! Being a late riser, I had not had the chance to slowly savour or partake the other eight breakfast buffets that had been served elsewhere and at Ramses Hilton throughout my tour. Despite the lack of time, I did however, have an couple of minutes to glance through the food items that were offered at the other places. When I came down for my first and last breakfast in Egypt, I was simply wowed by the selection served at Ramses Hilton. The variety was great, the presentation highly appetizing and the taste of the food (referring to all that I ate) was excellent! I was greatly impressed that there's even an organic section that serve organic food. Sadly, I was so full that I could not manage to try out this section. In addition, I must highly praise the fruit danish and muffin, which were really good, wherever it was made/ordered from! (Just for clarification, I'm referring to the taste in terms of "western" food, not Egyptian/Mediterranean food.) I managed to grab one fruit danish on my second day at Ramses Hilton and it was so fresh, soft and sweet that I craved for more and had to have it again on my last day. The muffin was brown and crisp on the outside but soft and tasty beneath the crust. Truly, it was with great regret that I could only manage one muffin and had to say goodbye...As my plane took off in the early evening, I approached Ms Nancy Talaat(?) of the check-in desk and asked it I could have a later checkout without extra payment. She checked and readily arranged for it without any issue and gave a lovely smile. I am really impressed by this heartwarming service of Ramses Hilton as not many hotels would accede to this request though I have tried it at other places like Brazil and Cape Town.
