Awesomely good location
Others have mentioned the big rooms, nice showers, and fabulous breakfast. All true. The location is unbeatable. From here you can easily walk to Il Duomo, the Pinacoteca di Brera art galleries, the Castello Sforzesco (great), and the beautiful green park, Parco Sempione.The Muscova metro station is within spitting distance. The cafe across the street (Moscatelli) is great for meeting friends and having some wine and antipasto. A short walk away on Via Palermo, there's a casual restaurant called Pizzeria Grand Italia where a lot of locals have dinner (the pizza is different from most, thick crust and drowning in cheese). The wi-fi is free but spotty in some rooms (like mine).

Nice Hotel for Italy
I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable size of the room and shower at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was awesome with many choices for both Americans and Europeans. I would return.

Amazing Breakfast, nice staff
The breakfast here is amazing: eggs, bacon, pastries, meats, cheeses and for 10 euros. Also the staff is very helpful and kind. Great location and and very clean. If visiting Milan again, would definitely stay here.

Weekend break
Wonderful break in Milan and the Carlyle Brera was a very good hotel, didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, and rooms spotless, hotel so close for all the attractions the Duomo, La Scala and lots of other Galleries etc. but of course the shopping is out of this world every designer you wish to see is there.

Average hotel with a good location
I staid at this hotel each time I traveled to Milan for business in the last 2 years. It has a perfect location with a subway station in front of the hotel. The tourist attractions are just 15 minutes away of walking. There is no restaurant in the hotel. They serve breakfast, but you can't eat anything after 10 a.m. The service is good and the personnel is eager to help you. I suggested once to add some vegetable to the breakfast and they did. Next time I stood at the hotel they had much more vegetables. That was very nice.
