hotel sol s'argamassa
has me and my wife have been to this hotel for over twenty years as a family in the early years but now its just me and my wife. we have never been disappointed with all asspects of the hotel we have allways been welcome and looked after.even though the hotel can be full at times the staff allways have time to speak to us. i would recommend the hotel every time because if i go to other hotels we would not find this friendlyness and quality.so we will be returning to see every one again in july 2013 looking forward to it. paul & sandra howard.

Little Gem in Ibiza
I stayed here back in June this year. I travelled alone and I found the hotel perfect. It is located in a beautiful and tranquil location. I was looking to recharge my tired batteries and the stay at this hotel was perfect.The staff and food at this hotel was great and I look forward to returning in the future

A different side of Ibiza
We booked this holiday having read both positive and negative reviews on here, and thankfully we did not find any of the faults highlighted in the negative reviews. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and made you feel very welcome. You do not need to be fluent in Spanish, the staff that we came across could all speak English anyway- although it made them smile when we tried. The room was lovely, such a beautiful view! The room was cleaned daily, and includes a mini fridge and digital safe, which are both free to use. There is also air-con which works with your room card; we left this on whilst we were out using the spare key. Unfortunately the rooms were not very soundproof and even ear plugs could not block out the sound of the crying baby next door most nights. The entertainment was also rather loud and went on quite late- however it wasn't unpleasant to listen to! Just a bit noisy.There was a huge range to choose from at breakfast and dinner, always spoilt for choice. The drinks however are a little pricey, 4Euros for two small cokes. At breakfast however you can choose water, juice, teas, coffees etc.The area was really lovely; nothing was too far to walk. Es Canar was about 20mins walk away; we can't comment on the Hippy Market however as we arrived and left on a Wednesday when it was on. Cala Pada is a cosy little beach; we would recommend a day trip to Formentera, we caught the boat from Cala Pada in the morning. Cala Martina was great too- we didn't spend a single penny on hiring a sun bed this holiday, just grab one of the palm umbrellas and lay on your towel... not sure why you would pay when the sand is so soft.For a 21 yr old couple we were probably the youngest at Sol S'Argamassa, it's definitely not a clubber's area and this is why we chose to holiday here. You don't hear about the picturesque side of Ibiza enough. Oh, and hire bikes! It's mostly flat but take a map... we made the mistake of 'winging it' and getting lost.

Lovely location
The location of this hotel is excellent for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with fabulous views from the terrace. The whole hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very spacious, with included fridge, air con/heating, digital safe and very nice bathrooms. Food choice was very good for both breakfast and dinner, in particular the fish choices, which were excellent. Pleasant walks in either direction along the coast, and bus is 15 minutes easy walk away. The gardens are perfect for lying in the sun or shade, relaxing.
