Sinking fast
I stayed at this hotel three years ago and returned to find everything going under. For a supposed 4-Star hotel, this place doesn't make the grade. The rooms are dirty and the rugs are ancient. No one seems to care. They charge for wi-fi and the system crashes frequently. Breakfast is just average; below that for a 4-Star. Overall, the place needs a good overhaul or simply junk it. My advice: if you want to stay here, hurry. It may not be here long.

Friendly Hotel, close to Genova-Port
Friendly Hotel and it was pretty close to the Genova-Port. Room was in a usual "middle Class" Standard. From Room, we had good View to the Port. Employee at CheckIn and CheckOut was friendly and they speak also good english there.

No too Great
We stayed a night here on a package holiday before boarding a cruise ship, I wish the tour operator had done there homework as this is a low cost budget hotel and it shows. There were holes in the curtains, the room was small, a double had been booked but we got a twin. We arrived for breakfast about 20 minutes before it finished and there was not much left to eat. I asked for a teapot for our tea and was told that they had finished giving out tea pots !!!! We called into the bar for a drink but they only had a very limited drink selection.There are much nicer hotels in Genoa and given the choice I would not stay here again

close to fery terminal
although the hotel is not in the center, it was good, because it was just few minutes away from the ferry terminal. friendly service at this hotel - good middle class. interiour from hotel was average and also breakfast was average. for short trip, itis good there.

Good Hotel for short Overnightstop
We had an early Ferry Departure, so we did arrived already one Night before in Genova and went into the Columbus Hotel - just few Minutes from the Feryyterminal away. The Neighboorhood arround is not spectacular, but there have been two good italian Restaurants.The Hotel is in a good "middle Class" Level with a usual Standard. Room was little bit oldfashioned, but clean.In Room it was calm during the Night. For one night it is sufficient. For longer Trip,better search a Hotel more closer to Genova Center.
